What a stupid thing to do, Andy Carroll in getting yourself sent off for an elbow when he did the same barely two minutes when he got the first yellow.

I was at the game, couldn't believe how naïve he was. I don't think he should even start anymore, we have good fluid attacking players like Sakho, Antonio, Lanzini and Hernenadez and Carroll just slows it all down.

I didn't even watch yesterday's game. I took one look at the line up, saw Ashley Young on the right of midfield and went 'yeah, nah' and stuck to catching up on Masterchef Australia instead.

It was embarrassing from Man Utd. The most watched game of the season ends up last on Match of the Day. We had a good chance and Dea Gea made a great save, but all the talk in the build-up was about how bad our defence was and how great the Man Utd attack was. They were supposed to come to Anfield and beat us - as I said before the game, Mourinho has no balls.

It may have been a bad performance from us but it's still a valuable point and if we beat Huddersfield next week and especially if we do it comfortably then I don't think many Man United fans will dwell too much on how badly we played against you.

Why? they have Spent a fortune but do not believe they can come to anfield and even have a go? That's not in the traditions of Man United. It may well win you a championship but it won't satisfy the clubs traditions. I would say most neutrals will want city/Spurs/Chelsea to win the league!

At the end of the day it's just 1 match out of 38 matches in total, football has always been about looking ahead to the next game. I think it's common knowledge that Man United are not popular with neutrals and that's how it's been for many years. The media have spent the past few weeks having a lovefest over Man City but it's their choice to that if they want. They've done the same thing in the past around this time of year for the past few seasons and they were disappointed when their favourite team didn't win the league like they all said that they would.
Under Fergie united Never really did that well away to Liverpool so let’s not get revisionist because of Mourinho
No one is being revisionist United played much better than Saturday at anfield under other managers including Van Gal! I'm am arguing about Jose not united overall, but it is funny to see the fans defending him now he's united manager as they are desperate to win the league again after 5 long years. You wanna be a Liverpool fan - I've never witnessed my team win the title and prob never will!!
Agree a bit wit Steve, by all accounts the media has been lying in to Klopp these past 2 weeks, our defence is apparently awful and the Man Utd attack is amazing. The reality is our defence is not as bad as the stats show and the Man Utd attack is not as good as the stats show. A point away at Anfield is good, but what is annoying is we were there for the taking, but Mourinho was waiting for Klopp to take a risk. To not go to Anfield and at least try to get 3 points is just a poor attitude - we will not put under a similar display at Old Trafford. Sure we will be under pressure at times, but we will go for the victory. This attitude is why I think City will win the league.
For the sake of football I hope they do (or preferably Spurs but that doesn't look like happening this year). But I fear Jose will ultimately do it. If not this year def next!!

It's funny that there was no uproar when Liverpool lost 5-0 to Man City, or drew 3-3 with Watford, drew 1-1 with Burnley but a 0-0 draw with United has Liverpool fans in meltdown!

The Man City game aside, there was uproar (well there was for a completely different reason...) in all those games. We conceded in the last minute to Watford and could not score within a month of Sunday's to beat the league. What is annoying is Mourinho just ruined the game completely. There is no tactical genius in parking a bus, it is pretty much the most simple tactic to use in football. He is rightly getting slated in the media for it. He just made the biggest game of the Premier League season (Round 1) in to a bore fest. If you had lost that game you would be getting far more stick. In the whole build up we were getting slaughtered by everyone, most Man Utd fans I read or know were pretty confident of getting 3 points.

It's a valuable point of course for you guys. But to have one of the most expensive sides in world football and not even attempt to really try to win the game at a rival (whose forum is inconsistent and with the 3rd worst defence in the league) is just laughable & embarrassing.

We will see come season end whether it was a valuable point or 2 that went begging...

In other news & to absolutely no-one's surprise, Leicester have sacked another manager. Please can they be relegated this season, please.

Tonight's match between West Ham & Brighton is going to be shown on Sky Sports Mix (Sky channel 121). So if you don't have Sky Sports like me then you can watch this match on TV on that channel.

West Ham were so poor tonight, they made Brighton look like Barcelona! The atmosphere in the Olympic stadium was so flat as well for the entire match. I've got a feeling that Slaven Bilic is going to be sacked after that even though the West Ham chairman David Sullivan said that he would give Slaven until the end of this season at least.

Surely it's only a matter of time in Bilic losing his job. A very disappointing performance against Brighton.

I shall just see it as a great win for Brighton :D They are now in the top half of the top flight outside August for the first time since October 1982 :cheer:

THAT was embarrassing from Man United, Huddersfield were the better team and deserved to win the match. No excuses!

Man United will bounce back from this. The next league match against Spurs will be tough though.

A real spirited performance from Huddersfield. Some very bad mistakes from United for the second goal.
