Is it not part of the prize of winning X Factor that you release an album? Is she entitled to it..? I really want her to do well but people just don't seem to care for her.

 

I'm exactly the same, I really want her to do well too. It has to be, she won surely she is entitled to an album regardless of how she's doing chart wise.

 

I hope her next single is a bop...She really had potential with CB and So Good, Best Behaviour as much as I loved it didn't really have any standout features.

 

 

I'm secretly glad Marina/CB haven't charted, I really don't rate it at all.

The prize is that you are signed to SYCO (or an affiliated label). But as with all label deals, it's a fairly one-sided contract. Almost all the obligations are on the artist side. Every winner, except the one that came after Louisa, has gotten an album release so far. One has to assume that was to make a quick buck, not because SYCO was required to.

Good to see 'Me & U' seems to be well remembered then if its Hot Songs placement and documentary feature is enough to put it back in the iTunes top 75. Really enjoy it, and of course the Le Youth version is even better imo.
