With sales from the album before it was released as a single i expected sales to be over 30k.

Found some UK sales for 'MTSWY', from its sales chart run on the UKMIX Forums =

So with other weeks thrown in it's on about 15k.

Hopefully with Jack’s album doing so well it’ll pick up some extra streams.

It prob did last week on album impact week but not much more from here on.

Interesting that this now features on two #1 albums without charting in its own right.

It is a huge shame such a stunning song never charted.

The sales information we have is also disappointing.

It is hard to believe an iTunes Top 10 and long chart run equates to less than 15,000 sales.

And also the fact it got some decent radio airplay and TV promo - this really should of at the very least gone Top 75.

Easily deserved to be Top 75 as it done so well on downloads but failed on the streaming front. Great great song but at least as you said it featured on 2 number 1 albums so many people will know of the song.

With it featuring on 2 Number 1 albums and the song itself getting good reviews, i expected more chart success.

It is an example of the charts don't always reflect what is and isnt a good song.

Just making a rare appearance in the Kylie forum to say that this track has grown on me so much over the months since its release. It's a really lovely duet and I'd say it ranks among her very best songs. Glad to see it was getting a lot of love here :wub:

Love that it’s extended outside of her fan base - such a great track, shame it never became a hit but I agree it’s definitely one of her best collabs :wub:

It's a great song and a duet and such a shame it wasnt a big hit,if nothing else it was the 3rd most succesful single from golden.

I am delighted with its success when we compare it to the other singles from the album.

That said, i truly believed that at the extreme least it would have entered the Top 100 officially and i remain disappointed it not manage that.

I am however, extremely happy it made its way into the Top 10 on the iTunes chart.

 

I got overly excited when it went iTunes top 10 as I thought oh maybe this will take off properly.

When it reached top 10 iTunes status i had belief it would be enough to make it chart officially Top 100 as the song held firm for most of that week on iTunes.

Streaming completely shattered its chances of any chart success.

Streaming has ruined chart chart for most acts I like.

Yay Dandy! :wub: This was one of my favourites from the start and I still love it today. Kylie and Jack's voices work so well together and the song itself gives me a lovely summer nights vibe.

I agree with all of you... It’s really unfair that it did not rule the charts... but I am sure it will remain highly appreciated in the long run!!
