The BBC have today confirmed that FA Cup matches, including on from each prelim rounds, will be available to stream on iPlayer and BBC Sport

I saw most of the Litherland Remyca v AFC Liverpool tie. It was a enjoyable match and it's good to see the BBC investing in the grassroots game like this. If you were watching too you might have noticed my tweet being read out near the end :D

After that was over I went to see Hamworthy Utd v Bemerton Heath Harlequins. The Hammers (yes, really) took a very early lead and made it 2-0 at the start of the second half before BHH pulled it back to 2-1 a few minutes later. After several scares two late goals gave the Hammers a flattering 4-1 win.

The thing I love about the preliminary rounds of the FA Cup is that most of the team names all seem like sound-a-like names used by football games in the 90s when they couldn't get the copyright to the official team names.

I didn't watch, unfortunately I was committed elsewhere at the BBC. (literally. I was at Dock10 watching them film a gameshow)

I'm just waiting for the National League teams to be drawn in and hoping Chester can have a good run at it this year.

Don't forget Man U v Derby. United's consecutive run of broadcast FA Cup matches is over 50 now or something daft like that
I think this could be the round when Man U's run of televised matches finally ends. Of course, with City at home as well, that doesn't necessarily mean a Saturday 3.00 kick-off.

Liverpool vs Everton the big game of the draw - assuming BBC get he first pick, I can assume it will either be a Sunday or Monday night televised game?

I have noticed the BBC especially picking more leftfield choices recently for televised games.

Nottingham Forrest vs Arsenal will get shown on BT Sport I would imagine. Outside chance of Tottenham vs Wimbledon as well as it will be a big day out at Wembley for the opposition fans and the journalists.
