Down to #40 today and was outsold by the next 14 albums below it so probably won't be close to the Top 40 in the end.

Thank God indeed! Who holds the record?

For anyone who’s interested it’s #17 on sales chart in the UK this week

17 on sales is respectable !

Do we know sale numbers ?

Absolutely awful & shocking results on both sides of the Atlantic. She must be embarrassed.

The woman who released her lead single and first in 4 years on a Wednesday!? I doubt she cares. It’s doing as expected (well, maybe some of us expected longer than 2 weeks on the Hot 100  ). Oh well, that’s a wrap for the Madame X era I guess

Sold 1,977 copies this week.

Week-by-week sales:

27/06/2019 02 27,227 (+ 23 copies sold pre-release)

04/07/2019 14 4,642

11/07/2019 21 3,415

18/07/2019 46 1,977

Total: 37,285 (weekly sales add up to 37,284 though)

She will be lucky to reach 60k. Not a good result but obviously an artist who is well and truly in decline now.

Feels like the era is pretty much over now and all the focus is on the tour. It's a real shame, I'm not too bothered about chart success necessarily, I just want what is her best album in years to get the chance to be shown off with televised performances and radio play.

Does seem unlikely the album will go Silver although it wouldn't take much to give it a boost - literally just have to send Crave or Crazy to radio and the inevitable Radio 2 support will help give the album a lift for a few weeks.

I’m hoping the tour will give her the boost she needs, although considering the size of the venue I’m probably being ambitious lol. I wonder how much it will have sold by then, surely it can make up the 23k somehow. I have no idea what sales are out of the top 100 but even like 400 a week would get her there eventually?

Christ. What did people truly expect of a 60 year-old popstar releasing one of her most polarising and experimental pop albums to date?

It's beyond ridiculous. She's doing what she wants and clearly isn't bothered.

Sneaking back in the Top 40 on today's update, starting at #38. I imagine it'll end up just outside the Top 50 by Friday but at least it's not completely slipping away like when it fell 21-46 last week.
