I don't know but it either sounded pre-recorded or voice-tracked...

Have you heard the original version? SO much better production-wise.

Biography

Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as a member of the band One Direction. In 2016, Payne signed a recording deal with Capitol Records as a solo artist, and with Republic Records in the United States.

Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned as a solo artist for the British television series The X Factor in 2008 with "Fly Me to the Moon" by Frank Sinatra. Though cut by Simon Cowell following judge's house, Payne was encouraged to audition again. He reauditioned as a solo artist in 2010, where he was put into a group along with four other contestants, to form the boy band that would later become known as One Direction. Since joining One Direction, Payne, along with bandmates Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and former bandmate Zayn Malik, have released five commercially successful albums, performed on four worldwide tours, one featured on concert film One Direction: This Is Us, and won multiple awards, including two BRIT Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards.

Payne has worked independently under the monikers "Big Payno" and "Payno" creating remixes for songs by his band and singer Cheryl. On 19 May 2017, Payne released his debut single "Strip That Down", the lead single from his upcoming debut solo album. - Wikipedia

I have not heard it in its entirety, no :o I have seen a little clip of it though in chart videos on YT and it sounds like it would take some major getting used to!

Biography

Enigmatic masked DJ/producer Marshmello makes groove-oriented, synth- and bass-heavy electronic dance music. In the spirit of other masked DJs like Deadmau5 and Daft Punk, Marshmello (whose real identity remains a mystery) appears wearing a full-head-covering marshmallow mask. Despite the anonymity, Marshmello's career blew up in 2015 when he began releasing tracks online, including remixes of Zedd's "Beautiful Now," Jack Ü's "Where Are U Now," and others. From there came shows at New York's Pier 94, Pomona, California's HARD Day of the Dead festival, and Miami Music Week. In 2016, Marshmello released a compilation of his previously released tracks, Joytime, which reached number one on a digital top electronic albums chart. Included on the album was the single "Keep It Mello," featuring rapper Omar LinX. He continued to perform and release singles throughout the year, later starting his own Joytime Collective record label. In 2017, Marshmello released collaborations with Ookay, Noah Cyrus, Khalid, and Blackbear. - iTunes

First time listening to Silence. It sounds good. :o

No Meghan then? EDIT: Probably not. :(

That all-female group (if a duo can be counted as such) top three in 2002 *.*

Had no idea Fantasy secured No.2 on such tragic sales though. I didn't even realise sales had ever stopped quite as low as that in that year.

Love the 2012 top ten <3 Last year really was a tragic bore chartwise, I only really enjoy Closer and Perfect Strangers from the top ten and neither are particularly revolutionary.

Omg this phreshness! I don't know much of Marshmello except that helmet thing he wears. I was however recently introduced to the vocals of Khalid (yes, vocals Greg, not production ) via the brilliant '1-800-273-8255'

This sounds pretty good on first listen :o particularly the chorus pre-drop, Khalid sounds great. <3

Biography

Little Mix are a British girl group formed in 2011 during the eighth series of the UK version of The X Factor. They are the first and, so far, only group to win the competition. Following their victory, they signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music and released a cover of Damien Rice's "Cannonball" as their winner's single. The members are Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson.

Little Mix released their debut album DNA in 2012, which peaked inside the top 10 in ten countries including the UK and US. This made Little Mix the first girl group since the Pussycat Dolls to reach the US top 5 with their debut album, as well as earning the highest debut US chart position by a British girl group, breaking the record previously held by the Spice Girls. In the UK, the album spawned the number-one single "Wings". The group's sophomore effort Salute, which was released in 2013, became their second album to debut inside the top 10 in both the UK and US. The album produced two top 10 singles in their home country; "Move" and "Salute". Little Mix released their third studio album Get Weird in 2015 and it is their best-selling and longest charting album to date in the UK. The album's lead single "Black Magic" reached number one in the UK and was also nominated for two Brit Awards in 2016. The group's 2016 fourth studio album Glory Days became their first number one album in the UK and was also the longest reigning girl group Number 1 since the Spice Girls' debut album 20 years ago. The album's lead single "Shout Out to My Ex" became the group's fourth UK number one single, while the second single "Touch" became the group's tenth top ten hit in the UK Singles Chart.

The group won Best British Single for "Shout Out to My Ex" at the 2017 Brit Awards, they have also received several other awards during their career, including two MTV Europe Music Awards, two Teen Choice Awards and two Glamour Awards. As of October 2016 the group has achieved four platinum certified albums and eleven certified singles in the UK. With four UK number one singles and highest first week UK album sales for a girl band since the Spice Girls, Little Mix are one of the most successful female acts in contemporary British popular culture: they appeared on Debrett's 2017 list of the most influential people in the UK. Little Mix currently holds the record for the most VEVO Certified Videos for a British female artist, pushing Adele into second place, and also the most certified videos for a girl group. The group has 10 certified videos in total. - Wikipedia
