Mint Royale has tweeted that it is an "Exciting album chart battle this week between Shania Twain and Wolf Alice!"

He hasn't given away much more apart from that it is not looking too good for Miley and Demi, he predicts they will enter in 6-8 range , "prob Demi ahead. Not stellar sales for either".

I really want Shania to get the number 1. Hopefully all new albums will have decent sales this week.

With all the new entries, the Killers will fall outside the top 5 but i hope with decent sales and be a long term seller. All their previous albums studio and compilations have managed platinum so ideally id like that streak to continue but fear it wont.

The battle might be "exciting" but sales are probably quite low, can't see either of them exceeding 30k

Killers maybe #3, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran others in top 5?

Not sure I think Benny Andersson might be, also David Gilmour maybe, think the Foo Fighters will stay top five

Great news for Wolf Alice on getting their first #1 album, hope they can hold on to it. I'm not expecting high sales for it though.
Strange cos kinda contradicts mintys post

Not really minty only mentions wolf Alice and shania and technically if Gilmour is number 2 3 4 whatever wolf Alice is still holding him off number 1 if they are

21 new entries in the albums top 40, lawd. :drama: 15 of those top 20 too, hopefully it settles down a bit by Friday.

boo at it looking like another week for Sam Smith :|

I hope the top 3 singles change later in the week, I can't deal with Sam Smith for another week :nocheer:

As for the albums, all the new ones have pushed everything down, hopefully its get evened out later in the week,

Looks like a lot of streaming data is missing to me - think it's gonna be even closer for the top spot between Sam, Camila and Post Malone.

He’s only ahead by 1,500 copies. The rate Camila and Post Malone are climbing, Sam could end up at #3 come Friday

Really hoping Camila nabs number 1 this week! Pretty confident she will finish ahead of Sam Smith by the end of the week.... it's just PostMalone I worry about although he is quite far behind on itunes....

I reckon Yxng Bane (#44) will make it in by Friday, but yeah potentially no new entries isn't a good sight.

Radio 1 are going to play Big Shaq again on Friday :nocheer: must find my ear plugs.
