Surprised the Xmas songs are still so high! Nice to see loads of non-xmas songs now climbing/re-entering.

I was expecting only Wham to stay in top ten today. Interesting.

People still streaming Christmas songs on Boxing Day?

I think a fair few would - I mean people have family round across CE/CD and Boxing Day so people would probably stream then, just not as much as Christmas Day.

well yes some of us don't stop celebrating Christmas on Boxing Day.

I mean technically Christmas starts on Christmas Day and finishes on 2nd February so Christmas music now is perfectly reasonable.

6th January is Epiphany which is generally when people stop celebrating Christmas, although 2nd February is Candlemas which is still accepted as the end of Christmas in some traditions. I'm pretty sure we've got the Christmas service sheets for more than a week after Christmas but I'm not certain.

 

Either way, it's perfectly reasonable to be celebrating Christmas on Boxing Day ;)

that's reasonable though we usually take it down on NYD.

Also to note with Christmas songs, I don't know how Spotify's timezones work, but surely there are Christmas parties that go beyond midnight/whatever that cut off actually is. But either way, if people are willing to listen to them in October, then December 26th is not much of a stretch.
