Aquaria felt like she was more focused on herself, and I think that's one of the worst things to do in a makeover challenge. Like Monet and Kameron's were both a bit basic but I think they did try and work on both themselves and their partner a bit more, Aquaria felt more like she left Kingsley as an afterthought. It was a bit like playing dress up with your sister and giving her the shit leftover stuff when you've made yourself look amaze :lol:

I'm kind of sad that Monet was the only queen in the top 7 not to win a challenge, especially as she had so many 'almost there' moments but she was definitely the weakest overall queen of those remaining.

 

Yeah, it's a shame really! Monet was a fabulous queen and I think she'd be amazing to see live. Her runways just were not up to par sadly for season 10. She'd probably made top 3 pre-season 7 when looks really started to take off. Funnily enough now you mention it, Monet, Cracker and Eureka are tied for most weeks top 3! (Two of those are wins for Eureka and 1 was a win for Cracker).

With the new found fame/oppotunities, I hope Monet polishes her looks more. If she did, she would be amazing on an All Stars season! Sad to see her go, but Kameron did better in the lip sync. I though the bottom two was right. Happy to see Cracker finally manage a challenge win. I was expecting Eureka to win when Rupaul didn't announce Asia as the winner as I'm so used to Cracker not winning anything :lol: The top 5 is so strong! I wonder if they'll have a top 3 or 4? I'm assuming it'll be a top 4? Eureka/Aquaria are almost dead certain for the top 3/4. Ru really likes Asia so he's likely be there too. It all depends on how things go in the next epsiode. If Kameron is in the bottom again then it'll be a good lip sync - although I'm not sure if Ru will save Kameron if he's in the bottom for a third time.

I have no clue who's going to win this year. After thinking Eureka/Aquaria for a while, Asia is rising up again and if Kameron makes it to the final and its another lip sync final then it could be very interesting!

Crackers reveal of Cookie was one of the best moments of the season!

I don't understand how Eureka can wear the same loaf on her head but Monet can't have a pixie wig? Pretty sure Eureka wore an almost iidentical outfit a few weeks ago too. I don't even think Monet was in the bottom. Aquaria's was terrible? The judging has been so off this season.

 

Ru in the workroom was the most alive he's been in forever. More of that please.

You’d think that because she’s a bit...boring awkward and laid back on the show, but I’ve seen some of her performances and she’s genuinely an amazing dancer/performer. I’m actually dissapointed she didn’t lip sync for the reason that it would be nice to have seen something exciting that’s different than just amazing looks from her.

I agree with Theo - besides Cookie (that turn around reveal was an absolute MOMENT) and Cracker, nobody excited me.

 

In Eureka's defence, I kinda get why you'd want to go for a signature look in a makeover family resemblance challenge. It was a little close to the bone in repeating a look she's done before this season but it's not like we haven't seen Cracker looking exactly like that with the exception of the Violet headpiece. They were both very signature looks.

 

But yah Cracker smashed it, leagues ahead. I thought Monet and Tyler's chemistry was lovely and could have kept them out the bottom but tbh none of the other five wowed me.

Yeah I think the internet in general is going for Eureka a bit much this episode, she was by no means the best but there was a family resemblance and they worked well together which was the challenge really, it just didn't particularly wow me because it was a look we've seen. I'd have put Aquaria over either Monet or Kameron (both did about the same in the challenge for me, ok but pretty basic, and basic but tried is better than "I put myself over my partner" like Aquaria in a makeover challenge!) but otherwise can't argue really.

 

I'm not seeing the internet's obsession with Monet being "robbed" either, she had some great moments and it's a shame that she couldn't nab a win before going after being close so many times, but she was clearly out of her depth looks wise compared to the others which made her the weak link.

i dont think monet was robbed of the crown per se but she was defo screwed over by producers who wanted her out before the final 5. like she could have v easily won any of the last 3 challenges and been safe last night but instead we get aquaria and asia being handed wins they dont necessarily deserve but that they need in order to validate their ascent into the top 3.
