It doesn't sound anything like a 00s dance hit to me apart from the vocal. Production is too minimal and deep house for that.

 

Disappointed with the song, the vocal is great but definitely needs more in the production to interest me, as it sounds a bit lifeless for my liking.

 

Expecting it to become as big as MK 17 as it seems to appeal to today's dance music market.

 

Love the visualizer as ever with Jax Jones. Was hoping for the Tic Tac box to open and the tic tacs to go everywhere at the end, that should have happened!

For whatever reason his tracks really don't tend to do very much until radio picks them up... You Don't Know Me and Instruction were prime examples so it's likely that trend will continue.

These are the days of OA/OS plus the track hasn't been Radio 1 playlisted yet. I would say it will almost certainly be top 20 and probably top 10 eventually. Much 'cooler' sounding than Instruction (one of the reasons I don't like it as much) and so appeals to a wider audience probably.

Jax Jones is on Sunday Brunch this morning performing this with Sinead Harnett at the end of the show. Watching it just now and he has confirmed that he is working on an album *.*

I wonder if that means he's working/worked with Sinead Harnett on any new songs? :o
