ALTYR MUUNILINST // RHYS – TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE

She also came second due to tiebreak in the 50th!

(probably common sense but you left it out of her previous stats xo)

Ah of course Rich had to send a Delta song! After getting that 50th anniversary Delta entry in before there even was a rule for anniversary entries. x (actually Phil also sent Sugababes in that contest anyway lol)

AELANDOR // MEADOWLARK – HEADLIGHTS

Country of origin: UK

Previous entries:

LXIV: Syndare – Meadowlark – Family Tree (3rd)

Queen/king of not finishing her show on time and facilitating emergency quick Lacob meet up *.* Meadowlark have done very well in BJSC previously, coming 3rd in the biggest final ever (all entries got put into one final that month after a hosting mess), but can they do just as well in what will be the second biggest final ever?

SEMI 2 SLOT 19

FARAHTYN // PHILLIP MIKAL FT. OLA – WAITING FOR (VIGILANCER REMIX)

Country of origin: Sweden

Previous entries:

XXXIII: Farahtyn – Ola – All Over The World (4th)

LXXII: Sandeborg – Ola – This Could Be Paradise (21st)

Farahtyn recycles the vocalist behind one of their biggest hits, this time with a dance production behind him! Will they get the result they’ve been waiting for after a while away from BJSC?

UNITED STATES OF JACK // BREE RUNAWAY – WHAT DO I TELL MY FRIENDS?

Country of origin: UK

Previous entries: N/A

After an absence of YEARS, Jack has returned for 100 *.* Most of his entries were before my time, but with a poppy/urban taste this entry is very Jack!

SEMI 2 SLOT 20

MEZIDINIA // GABBY HENSHAW – HIGH GRADE

Country of origin: UK

Previous entries: N/A

After not having a great run of luck during their 2017 return, Mezidinia have gone for a Manchester based singer with a song labelled online as “chill trap”. Can it change their fortunes?

Bree Runway was my other choice I was considering for BJSC 100 or 101 (for those keeping a record it was the "Pupok would send this and come like 9th" one) so I was mildly annoyed that Jack beat me to that one but I will throw some major hype towards it nonetheless. It's written by Olly Alexander from Years and Years as well so there's some serious pedigree to that track.

BUZZJACK MOUNTAIN // ALAN PARSONS PROJECT - YOU DON’T BELIEVE

Country of origin: UK

Previous entries: N/A

Funky house nation have gone… progressive rock? :o (well not quite but Wiki labels the act as such) With a sound straight out the 70s, this sounds like a Suedeonia or Rolloland, a definite departure from dancebloc.

SEMI 2 SLOT 22

#00274E // ORELSAN – BASIQUE

Country of origin: France

Pevious entries: N/A

Just like his duo partner Chris, Jake has gone French for 100! This rapper’s track is kind of like Stromae, can it do as well as the likes of Papaoutai?
