November 7, 20177 yr I think she was called Chloe Mafia when on X Factor (and Snog Marry Avoid *_*) - I can't imagine this cover being anything but awful
November 7, 20177 yr She was the one who turned up wearing just a bra & only got through to the next stage cos Simon voted with his eyes (and something else). I think we can safely say the Xmas campaign #1 brigade is over after they all flopped last year.
November 7, 20177 yr Yeah that going to sound woeful for sure. She appeared on celebrity bb last year as well & I doubt she'll have much supporters because unlike Megan she doesn't have a good voice at all  I'm thinking Wham is the better bet this year but I'd prefer Mariah got there. If not a Christmas track or X factor etc then it'll probably be Ed Sheeran :drama: (although he could be on ACR again by then)
November 23, 20177 yr Last year Clean Bandit were tipped by many on here to do it, defying bookmaker and industry expectations due to the impact of the relatively new streaming era. Wonder who the similar call would be this year? Probably Rita or Camila Cabello?
November 23, 20177 yr Maybe we could add a poll? Depending on the ACR thing Wham and Mariah have a chance - when's the chart - 22/12?
November 23, 20177 yr Ed Sheeran, depending on how much a boost he gets from his XF performance. I really hope not though.
November 23, 20177 yr Author Dan's calculated average odds from oddschecker (excluding acts with 2 or less bookies offering odds on them) 2/1 Wham/George Michael 4/1 Ed Sheeran 6/1 Mariah Carey 6/1 X-Factor 2017 Winner 8/1 Elbow 12/1 Ariana Grande 14/1 Adele 15/1 James Arthur 15/1 Post Malone 16/1 P!nk 16/1 Eminem 16/1 Taylor Swift 17/1 Stormzy 17/1 Camila Cabello 18/1 Rita Ora 18/1 Sia 19/1 David Bowie 20/1 Little Mix 21/1 Justin Bieber 33/1 Brad Howard 36/1 Sam Smith 47/1 Rihanna 50/1 Captain Ska 52/1 Chris & Kem 58/1 Disturbed 74/1 The Pogues 79/1 Sir Cliff Richard 93/1 Wizzard 100/1 Slade 100/1 Liam Gallagher 100/1 Noel Gallagher 101/1 Katy Perry
November 23, 20177 yr Idk a charity single could easily spring up from nowhere and take it between now and Christmas. They still have a big effect when the cause/issue is still fresh in people's minds, just look at Artists for Grenfell. I think the Jo Cox single unfortunately just waited too long to release it. Having said that, Rita Ora at 25/1 is very tempting, I chickened out with Clean Bandit last year after what happened with the NHS Choir the year before, so perhaps I shouldn't be as scared this time.
November 23, 20177 yr Seems to be some confusion on if the classic Xmas singles will be affected by ACR in the run up to Christmas? My understanding was that if a song has had a sales increase week on week, then it will not be hit by ACR and all streams will count as usual at the 150:1 ratio. Is this correct? In the iTunes thread, I saw someone say different... I have Mariah at 50/1 with £10 so I’m anxious! Haha
November 23, 20177 yr Michelle McManus feat. Choirs With Purpose coming to steamroll all competition x
November 23, 20177 yr Rita is a very good shout but it's worth waiting to see just how big an impact X Factor has on Perfect. If it can keep increasing its sales just enough to avoid ACR on Xmas week I'd say that's a more appealing option.

November 24, 20177 yr So Wham are favourites?? Not many charity/campaigns on there so far! I think it'll be Wham myself this year.
