6. "Doing It" (with Charli XCX) - 7.9836 (Max: 11 - blacksquare, Cameron, all is vanity., Brébino, Cucumberella / Min: -1 - Dobbo; 0 - ML Hammer95)

UK chart peak: #8

Missing out on a place in the top five is "Doing It", Rita's first collaboration with indiepopstar Charli XCX. I absolutely loved this at the time of release and I still get a kick out of it when I go back to it. It works really well as a duet with both artists taking it in turn to sing the verses and choruses and overall it's just a lot of fun - something that was definitely needed back when it was released following the chart domination of three male solo artists the previous year. Unfortunately it isn't that well-remembered by the general public but it makes up for it here, becoming the highest song to not score an average of over 8.0 and the highest with a -1 score. The track was originally released as a solo Charli song on her second album 'Sucker' until her previous single flopped and they decided to re-record this song with Rita to get another chart smash - it worked the trick and became a top ten single for two weeks in February 2015 but fell down the chart fairly quickly afterwards.

Body On Me is ridiculously low!!!! It's aged SO well and I return to it lots  Radioactive on the other hand has never been a big favourite of mine really :(
Spot on. :( I wasn't expecting it to win or go top 5, but I fully expected top 10 for it </3

Radioactive missing the top 10 is a pleasing surprise though! I enjoy it, but it's so overrated amongst forumers.

How We Do is dated, but so much fun. Poison is gorgeous. Glad to see it top 10! Doin' It is catchy, but slightly too high for me. Lonely Togetheris cute, but the processed vocals actually irritate me a little. :(

Ughhhh. 'Hot Right Now' to leave asap though please. Never been that fussed on it. But I expect that to perhaps come 2nd/3rd with IWNLYD in the other position and Anywhere winning?

Awful. Which is even more surprising considering I normally like most of Charli's stuff even more than Rita's.

I didn't expect Hot Right Now to finish this high actually but I guess it was her first hit so is thought of fondly.

Doing It is her most overrated, just never really got into it :/

5. "Your Song" - 8.2213 (Max: 11 - UltraReputation, Calum and BiLLYx / Min: 3 - jase.; 4 - BridgeCow, Dobbo)

UK chart peak: #7

Kicking off the top five is "Your Song", Rita's 2017 comeback single and the lead single from her upcoming second album. It was her first release in 18 months and it's safe to say that anticipation for new music was very high - but whether she would get a hit after such a long break was the question. Thankfully, Rita came and slayed us all with one of the songs of the summer (the eighth biggest, according to the Official Charts, and the biggest by a solo female!) Admittedly, it has been overplayed to death this year but that doesn't stop Buzzjack, as the song received three 11s and nine 10s here. Musically, it is very different to pretty much everything that she's done previously with only maybe "I Will Never Let You Down" being comparable to it with its similar laid back vibes. "Your Song" was co-written by MOR favourite Steve Mac along with Ed Sheeran (hence the appearance of his favourite lyric 'kissing my mouth') and he also provides backing vocals during the chorus. It peaked at #7 for three non-consecutive weeks and spent a total of seven weeks in the top ten, which was her longest-running top ten hit until "Lonely Together" broke that record this week.

Your Song outdid all of my expectations chart-wise, was brilliant to see it blossom into a genuine smash! It's a great song too, very much on-trend without being copycat.

4. "Hot Right Now" (with DJ Fresh) - 8.2787 (Max: 11 - Jade, ML Hammer95, Liam / Min: 4 - blacksquare; 5 - NocheLuna, Cremey)

UK chart peak: #1

Perhaps surprisingly making it all the way to fourth place is "Hot Right Now", the first ever chart hit and the introduction to the superstar that is Rita Ora. DJ Fresh was one of the biggest DJs in the UK back in 2012 and there was plenty of hype for his follow-up to the #1 smash "Louder" - and it did not disappoint. Another drum'n'bass banger, the song features some of Rita's most iconic lyrics ("you got the magic numbers on your speed dial and you could barely drop a name, but meanwhile") and is definitely my favourite from her debut era - and Buzzjack's too as it ranks the highest here. It became her first of four (to date) UK number one singles in February 2012.

'Hot Right Now' is an absolute banger  I'm pleasantly surprised to see it as high as 4th because I didn't notice it picking up many 9s or 10s.

I quite like Hot Right Now but it's much too high for me, I'd put it quite near the bottom actually! Never totally loved it.

The perfect top 3
