I mean, I remember during the tour I tried and failed to get the pink hoodie, so if it had been re-stocked then maybe I would have... But now?... who cares...

FOUR BECOME FIVE Mel B reveals major Spice Girls reunion update about Victoria Beckham

MEL B has sensationally revealed Victoria Beckham will re-join the Spice Girls for a mystery project.

The singer, 47, claimed an exciting announcement is just around the corner, news which is set to delight Spice Girls fans around the globe.

Although she kept schtum on specifics, Mel promised all five girls will unite professionally for the first time in 11 years, following their iconic performance at the London Olympics closing ceremony in 2012.

The fashion designer, 49, notably chose not to join her fellow Wannabe hitmakers for their 2019 UK stadium tour, claiming she had been too busy with her namesake clothing brand.

But now the timing is perfect, according to Mel, and Victoria’s agreed to get behind the microphone once more.

She exclusively told The Sun: “My theory is that if I say it enough, it will happen. But actually we are planning on releasing a statement.

“What that is, I can't say right now because we're just finishing off perfecting what we're going to be doing together, all five of us, but it's going to be something that the fans are really going to love.”

When asked how they persuaded Victoria to come back, she replied, “Well, it's not even about convincing her. I mean she dressed me and my mum for when I got my MBE, so we've kind of always been in contact.

“It’s not like none of us are speaking together, we've all got a group WhatsApp, but it's just about timing.

“She was really busy doing her fashion line and supporting David with his moves and his career and obviously she's got a bunch of kids so it's just about finding the right time.

“And we've managed to do that so there should be an announcement pretty soon.”

The former X Factor judge hit the road with Melanie C, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner four years ago as part of a 13-date UK tour.

Victoria told Vogue Germany at the time: “It took me a lot of courage not to go on tour with the Spice Girls again, but to be the one who says: 'You know, I'm not doing it because things feel different now than they used to.’

“I'd rather concentrate on my family and my company. I'm 45 now and very happy to be the woman I am.”

It follows reports all five Spice Girls could reunite for a headlining Glastonbury slot, and it was more recently revealed they’d turned down the chance to perform at King Charles III’s Coronation concert last month.

This is clearly about the Netflix documentary. I can't wait!

Putting positive vibes out there that this documentary would have the five of them in the same room as each other. We do not need a third documentary of them interviewed separately!!
lmao ok if u say so Mel B!!!

We all know Mel B is a talker, but, she has always been pro-Spice Girls (for the most part) unlike a couple of the others. Mel B's persistence is also a part of why the stadium tour happened in 2019. It's ok to be excited sometimes.

THAT, and, maybe a #Goodbye25 something-or-other with some unreleased songs in the pipeline. A 'farewell' type tour would certainly align well with a Goodbye-themed release.

I hope it is a new album and Posh is happy to be part of it and use her non-existent vocals!
The fans want new music or the unreleased songs no more documentaries and crap

That’s never going to happen.

I know this is slightly O/T but if they were to tour again (as a 5 piece) do you think stadiums would be viable in Europe, Aus, North & South America? We know they exceeded expectations with the UK dates but of course this is their biggest market.
^^ They could probably pick a few but I think their days of filling stadiums outside of the UK even as a 5 piece are over - they’ve basically ignored the European market and beyond for years and have had little success or exposure there for such a long time.

this is true but sadly our best hope would be a documentary plus a Anthology style release with the greatest hits and some rareties.

New music is pretty much out of the question -_-

I think they could do stadiums in Australia and the UK again. Perhaps some in the USA aswell. However they struggled in Europe last time so I think they would do limited dates there in stadiums again. Not that a 5 piece tour would ever happen again.

They stopped being a recording force in 2000, aside from Song for Her and a couple for the GH :( Shame really. THEY have relegated themselves to a 90s nostalgia act. Not a great end for the biggest girl group in HISTORY.

This is cool and you see a full performance of The Lady is a Vamp from that tour on there, in great quality which is very very rare! Those Ginger vocals though, damn... :teresa:
