I don't think Kylie would wanna do Glasto again, the legends slot was so overwhelming in the absolute best way for her and it's done now. It makes complete sense for the Spice Girls to do it next year with it being 30 years, hopefully Emily has grown up a bit and got over looking down her nose at "popstars".

They get offered it every year it is nothing to do with Emily but with the girls.

 

It is down to timing. There is no way they would just do Glasto on its own, it is just way too much effort for one 90 minute slot. The costumes, rehersals, staging it would be weeks and weeks worth of effort.

 

Now if it lined up during a tour or after a tour, where the bulk of the work was already done and modifying it to fit Glasto then it will happen. Which is why I believe it will next year as Mel C said we need to do some shows before next year to come in on top form.

 

My read is they all want to do Glasto but all realise it cant just be a one off it is too much work. So I believe a tour is being planned around it and there is a very big possiblity that Victoria will be on that tour as she wants to do Glasto. We will get the tour announcement this year.

I don't think Victoria would be up for a tour, only Glastonbury as a one-off Goodbye type of affair! Maybe a tour of the 4 of them culminating with Glasto with all 5?... One can only hope...

I think a few things have happened with Victoria. She saw how huge 2019 was (13 stadiums is as big as it gets in the UK). She visited Glasto with David and both seemingly loved it. Glasto has changed in terms of the last few years it has become even bigger than ever with the names that want to do it.

 

Elton John doing his last ever UK gig there after never performing thete before shows you what level it is on now. He could gave easily done Wembley stadium as his last show.

 

2019 happened because they got offered Wembley and things grew from that. 2007 happened because the label were going to release a GH and it grew from that. I think they want to do Glasto, it has become Olympics big, and the rest will grow from it.
