November 26, 20177 yr Author This is totally not a smash but this was a big favourite of the early 90s around mine... RIP Clivilles :( XmvMSJVeo5g

November 26, 20177 yr 'Justified and Ancient'!!! I heard that on the radio for the first time ever during my work experience in the summer (on radio 2!) and it made my day *.*
November 26, 20177 yr e-siJSNOOFo I remember seeing it like once or twice in the late 90s I think but only saw it again searching for BJSC. Forgotten :(
November 26, 20177 yr ^Oh, good choice. It wasn't much of a smash but did creep in to the Top 40 at #39 IIRC. Speaking of Saint Etienne - there are literally loads you could pick “Join Our Club” being my particular favourite - but their biggest hit was the Motiv8 Mix of “He's on the Phone” which went to #11 and did get a lot of airplay at the time and is mostly forgotten now. November 26, 20177 yr Yes, St Etienne released some great singles. Only Love Can Break Your Heart was the first of them but, as you say, others were more successful. He's On The Phone was one of their best.
November 27, 20177 yr Real McCoy - Another Night Pav2f4b-1ZE Ace Of Base - Beautiful Life wh-07BzfgYY Edited November 27, 20177 yr by aDNAn
November 27, 20177 yr Real McCoy - Another Night I wouldn't say this one is forgotten as it often makes the 90s dance compilations. One of my favourite dance tracks of the 90s is this one but it isn't really forgotten either for the same reason. A3j2pGMnKj4
November 27, 20177 yr There will be plenty of 90s smashes in my top 1000,forgotten or otherwise, but here are two that didn't quite make the cut: OkDDDgsVMrw hLDr0QNCUd4
November 27, 20177 yr Author Yes, Vegas is great - as are many others, I'm really still rather fond of them in retrospect.
November 27, 20177 yr A few lesser known dance gems (the latter two are better known from Queer As Folk): Snap! - The First, The Last, Eternity (THE best Snap song imo) Xe_0zKVVGQw The Nightcrawlers - Surrender Your Love (Far better than Push The Feeling On) P06Xa80nd8g OT Quartet - Hold That Sucker Down (Builds Like A Skyscraper Mix) 3YTbfkdMO4M Tatjana - Santa Maria (Wah-Hey Mix) tVhlxCR1B24
