Watching tonight's ep. I still can NOT with everybody in the pub going silent/staring down the Slaters like they've just been on a killing spree. I can't stop cringing

Some of the jibes and comments that came out were legendary though!

"oh great, now we're being ignored by bleedin' Sonia"

I AM SCREAMING

"Denise is right they've been through enough... men"

Stacey is like a whole different character again. Finally!

They needed to remember she's a Slater.

Surely you'd just stop going to the pub if they were being like that?

And right - Sharon tried to steal however many million from some woman in Ireland and so did half the square!! The other half knew about it, but were too busy in a sexist storyline in the café talking about their men and nothing else, to care!

Why did it end with Hunter asking Louise if she had any plans for tomorrow? Have I missed something

I think he's going to try and give her one. He's really getting on my nerves tbh which is a shame as I liked his dad when he was in it!

Seems we are getting Hurricane Sharon six years too late from recent episodes.

A step up from the ‘gentle breeze’ Sharon that turned up back then.

Kat calling Sharon Phil Mitchell’s doormat. When was the last time this show was so self aware?

There is a great warmth to the show at the moment and more humour which was needed. It is like the show is connected again, they are drawing on the characters history and feistiness, Sharon and Stacey, very good examples.

I am starting to feel that John Yorke's work and direction is starting to impact on the show now and he has worked out the direction he is going in with storylines. That said, some characters remain pointless or idle, Tiffany is an example, i havnt figured out why she was brought back as she is she wandering around, Bernie i do like but i cant figure out what her character is essentially about, is it she sees Ted as the father she never had?

Hunter is deffo gonna end up being an absolute psycho weirdo, why can they never seem to bring in just a "normal" teen who doesn't have to suffer god knows what or have x and y wrong with them?

Ted dragging his grotesque daughter <3

EE's villains recently have been SHITE. The Willmott-Browns, Aidan, Hunter..

BRING. BACK. JANINE.
