You said he was the Chelsea Football Club of the chart a few days ago....

How do you compare Ed Sheeran to certain football clubs, what is your basis for this comparison?

My basis to compare Ed Sheeran to Man City and Chelsea is it's like he has released many versions e.g. them two clubs spending lots of money on players for domination. Also his chart domination just reminds me of that.

It's obv because city are favourites in footy in the way Ed is in

Music!

Out of the top 2 I would have definitely preferred River at Christmas number 1, has much more life to it than 'Perfect'.

A very merry Christmas to all of you chart fanatics!

I think Perfect sounds more like a Christmas No1 but hope River can claim the top spot in January as it's a great track!!

I like the track too! I like the faster beat buildup to the chorus.

Yeh it does sounds very eminem, similar to Love the Way You Lie!

I hope someone does a dance remix of it, I am imagining a 1993-1994 eurodance style remix especially considering the rapped verses and sung chorus would work very well, like the 80s style remix by Initial Talk worked well for Dua Lipa - New Rules.

Isn't it on SCR for another 2 weeks at least?
[Rita Ora] She's avoided ACR as her sales have increased this week. She now has another 3 weeks before she moves to move to ACR... 9 out of the top 10 registered a sales increase this week.

Well thanks to Ed getting the Xmas #1 and winning me £20 lol :D (I was a little worried bet365 was gonna stiff me as it was a bet on 'Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé' but thankfully they have paid out, yay x)

Every song in this top 10 peaked at #1, #2 or #3. :o I wonder if that's ever happened any other time!

Indeed a decent top 10 that and for an XF winner one of the more bearable ones
How much did you put on and when did you do the bet?

£40 at 1/2 just after the Beyoncé duet was released - shoulda gone for it before that announcement when he was at 3/1 but still a good return! x

Decent result is right - happy Christmas in the Bre household!
Can’t believe “Gucci Gang” has already dropped out. It will probably return when the Xmas songs start clearing out
