Yeah that was the definition of style over substance. That song deserved much more.

I'm sure Katy and her DID meet up, but I'm not sure if Katy was in the video. There is another girl with a really short, blonde bob cut, so I'm wondering if the fans just got in a frenzy about her being in the video when it was just someone else? 🙃

I echo most of what's been said here, it's very nice to look at but I wish they'd given more thought to the storyline. Still, I find it better than the RFI video!
A bit boring imo looks good but as stated before "style over substance" I might slightly prefer Ready For It over this.
This looks surprisingly... normal for Taylor? As much as I wanted something OTT and true to her style, I find this refreshing. Simple and fun. Rather this than a visual assault.
She reminds me of Girls Aloud towards the end when they stuck with the same director: glossy videos, expensive, of them standing around looking beautiful. They became very boring.
The video is just.... nice enough. It's definitely style over substance, flashy and nice to look at but nothing much going on throughout it. Same as Ready For It really but I preferred the way that looked to this slightly.
I agree with the majority, it's a very beautiful video but nothing really happens in it. It's very much like a higher budget and edgier '22' in that respect. That said, I think it was a smart decision to move away from all of the hidden messages (bar the snake gameboy :D) and escape to a nice fun video!
Ok I love this song now(!) but the video is yet another expensive style over substance waste of time. I actually quite liked the concept of the "...Ready for It?" video though so this is really average in comparison.
i think the video is better than the song in all honesty...what does that say

The video effect for this...hasn't been as big as I would have expected.
Yeah I thought/hoped that the video would propel it top 40. Of course bloody Eminem gets a hit with Ed but even he can't help this take off :/

It’s off Hot Hits Uk on Spotify now. Also Capital have apparently dropped it. All while Radio 1 are still on Gorgeous.

I’m astonished that despite huge album sales around the world she hasn’t had any huge hits like Shake It Off, Trouble, Blank Space, WANGBT etc? Obviously Look has a great first couple of weeks but it’s longevity wasn’t great. Maybe the 5th single will have more luck...? The timings and organisations of the singles have been a mess.

Are album sales really that good outside of the US?

It's been a giant mess. It's so surprising after how slick majority of the 1989 campaign was. They should have pushed End Game as the second single in October - everything post Look has been chucked out without any care. The lack of promotion has just made the entire thing feel anaemic too.

The single situation is so frustrating, I think that this, RFI and Gorgeous had potential but they've just been chucked out and nothing has stuck because of this confusion of what's the single :/
