Incredible! Didn't realise they'd all got as high as that! I wish 'From Now On' was doing better, but eh, I will take what I can!

Rita and Liam are coming this Friday officially... I guess Justin can keep dreaming about his number 1 in the UK this week.
yeah, Justin has a much higher chance of going to #1 than Rita/Liam, who I expect will enter the top 10.
no idea how that track is blowing up so much, i haven't heard of the film outside of Buzzjack...? :o

The Greatest Showman was at #3 on the US Box Office chart on New Year's Eve & New Year's Day and success in that chart normally translates to other international charts as well.

Haha brilliant stuff. Care for a bet?

JT will kill them (not literally). Liam Payne the chart slayer haha.

it all depends on spotify and rita's singles have all climbed rather slowly and kinda underperformed on spotify if you take into account how high she's been on all the playlists

the last liam song didn't do that well either despite the high placement in all playlists

I can't see Liam & Rita debuting at #1 but I also don't think their last singles will be an indicator of success. I Don't Wanna Live Forever is a better comparison. Despite Zayn's previous single going no higher than #30, IDWLF still managed a top 20 debut with no Spotify in that first week. I think their combined name power, as both Liam & Rita are huge names and a collaboration will undoubtedly spark a lot of interest, will see them into a top 10 debut providing it's on Spotify from the start (I assume IDWLF's initial Spotify absence was more specifically due to Taylor).
Rita Ora so doesn't need to do a duet with Liam "4th most viable solo career of 1D" Payne

Yep, she is in a really good place at the moment but a duet with him could stop momentum. We shall see if it's any good though.

Now top 10 at #10!

AHHHH!! This is going to be an actual hit, isn't it?? :D

Is Keala Settle going to be this year's Idina Menzel then? Surprised it's doing so well when nothing from La La Land went top 40 and that felt a lot more hyped.

I see what you mean, but TIM is very commercial and very radio friendly (in fact The Greatest Showman soundtrack are musical theater songs that are tailor made for radio). I could see it being a hit even without the film tbh.
I suppose that has a lot to do with it. Had a quick listen and it seems more accessible than City Of Stars.
It has a huge sentimatal and powerful chorus. It’s something i can see getting covered on X Facor loads.
