Yay! 15th Platinum single! Not too shabby for a girl group.
with Salute going Platinum that means from 2014 through to 2018 they had 12 consecutive platinum singles!

'Confetti' (S) should be Gold... I'd probably say about September-ish! HA will probably be there soon after! That's a huge jump in sales for SM for 2 weeks? Maybe I added it up wrong? Idk. (But the total in the original post is correct - I'm just not sure about the difference since last update)

 

EDIT: it WAS incorrect. The last known total before this week was 670k. :tearsmile: ALL FIXED.

I'm gonna say it'll out do 'Break Up Song' too...

 

EDIT: Also, I think 'Think About Us' could potentially be going Gold v soon. 375k on 4th Jan? If 'Salute' did ~32k since, I reckon it's not out of the realms of possibility that TAU has done ~25k in a similar time frame? No?

 

I wish we had an update on those that are closest to certifications!

Also, I wonder exactly how far away 'Wings', 'Hair' & 'No More Sad Songs' are from 1 million? I'd guess that 'Wings' is over 900k now and both 'Hair' & 'No More Sad Songs' are closer to 900k than they are not...?

I think Wings would be over 900,000. Hair around 875,000-885,000 and No More Sad Songs around 850,000-855,000.

 

Just a rough guess though.

twitter saying break-up song is at 560k? if so that means it'll be platinum in a few months!

 

I lost the tweet so I can't link it look but it was a Confetti singles UK sales update.

 

Holiday was at 370k I believe too?

Cannonball will eventually be Platinum at some point too, surely? It's only 52K away and the last update was six months ago. :lol:

 

Throw in Break Up Song, Heartbreak Anthem and probably Confetti (at some point) and that would be 19 Platinum singles which would surely make them the most Platinum certified British act in history (if they're not already)? Or has Ed f***ing Sheeran beat them to that?

 

Edit - Yeah, he has 26 Platinum singles. I hate him. And a disturbing amount of them are 2x and 3x Platinum.
