Well... it was top 50 for a while before she won Sound

Yes which was poor for a song in the A List on radio 1 since the start of the year.

30. Dua Lipa - IDGAF

36. Taylor Swift - End Game (feat. Ed Sheeran & Future)

83. Ansel Elgort - Supernova

108. Carrie Underwood - The Champion (feat. Ludacris)

132. RAYE & Ramz - Decline (Remix)

General public clearly not enjoying the song then, an Ed feature can only sell a poor song so much.

Tbf neither End Game nor IDGAF have had big video boosts yet, which is bizarre... but iirc, premiering videos on Fri-Sun always seem to be boosted less than if they prem'd middle of the week?

Not a fan of 'Strangers' or Sigrid tbh. Which is odd aa I feel like she is someone I should stan... but something leaves me feeling quite.. cold when I listen to her songs. 'Don't Kill My Vibe' was good though.

Both have had pretty solid video boosts imo  End Game has no airplay yet either so I'd say it's fine?
Pretty sure End Game has gone from low or outside top 200 to top 40 and Dua went from top 75 to top 30 so both pretty decent!

But is she climbing on Spotify??

Pop hits do well all the time on iTunes, but become minor hits overall - like Screech's pop - because of Spotify and the majority of people using that. The popsters are still using iTunes, hence the big difference between iTunes and the real charts

yes she is also climbing on spotify, but will climb more when she's moved up on the playlist
What About Us was not a ‘minor’ hit. End of.
It wasn't huge, especially not as big as iTunes would have made us believe. I'm gonna hold off celebrating Sigrid breaking through till she breaks through on Spotify, like all relevant artists. ALL.

It was still pretty major though, top 3 officially, decent chart run, still selling, launching a big no.1 album and it also had a lot of cultural impact. Pink obviously struggles with streaming but she’s doing very well for a woman almost 18 years into her career.

Plus at the time, everyone knew that just because she sold well on iTunes, didn’t mean she would get official no.1.
