It's always the same people complaining about new forums being created - if you don't like the artist, don't post there! No one's forcing you to.

fyi: I'm only gonna be an official Rita mod for a short while, just as we set everything up and get things going. A new mod will be hired in due course!

The Dua forum was met with the same reaction, a much harsher reaction than the Ariana, Nicki and Justin forums which haven’t done as well. And the Dua Forum is usually top 10, and has been top 5 loads of times in the short period it’s been open. Rita is relevant and is going to get more posts than an empty Take That forum. And if you don’t want to post in it it, don’t...but I don’t see how it’s hurting anyone being there.

I would probably be slightly sceptical ordinarily, but Dua Lipa proved to be one of the most successful of the new forums despite not having the biggest profile currently so it shows it can happen with determination, I don't see any reason this can't do the same as that, Rita's a current artist, has a pretty big profile and fits in to our main demographic. It's a great replacement for a forum that was pretty much the opposite and we are for the first time in about five years looking quite current with our AFs and we can't straight out delete any of them as Lotti said, so I really don't see any problem with artists with a following on here getting a forum every now and then to replace a dead one. Even if it flops, it still looks better on us as a site than a dead forum from a long irrelevant artist.

I don't think the problem lies with the artist in question, not for me at least - I know I'll certainly be posting in the Rita AF and Jay, Joe and Joseph have proven time and time again that they have the drive and enthusiasm to make something a success so I know the AF will be a fun and interesting place to visit. It's more about thinking long term and what happens when the discussion dries up - do we leave the forum to remain dormant until new music is announced or do we follow an idea such as 'revolving AFs'? It's something worth baring in mind.

The next one I predict will probably be a Camila Cabello and 5th Harmony Forum which will take over the Leona Forum.

Why can't you add forums I heard there were higher numbers of artist forums existing at once in the past on Buzzjack.

Seriously though, completely and utterly here for the Rita forum :heart: Def here for giving it a chance! :cheer: It's def better to keep it turning over rather than have several forums that barely get any posts in for now (until one of the other admins can delete and start forums)

When the hell did this turn into the “slag off 5H” thread?

I checked Fifth Harmony's discography online there after wondering why they had gone quiet in terms of the charts and they have had a few singles out after That's My Girl but they have flopped for some reason :(

 

I wonder why their chart performance has gone downhill? :unsure:
