*.* YES

I don't know why but I felt the first one flew under the radar compared to other Marvel movies which is a shame because it's one of my favourites.

Ended up watching the first with my housemate who's really into Marvel as he said it was a good way to ease into Marvel (still haven't watched any others since, lmao) and really loved it so interested to see if this one is good too!

WAIT.

We're getting this A MONTH after the US? We usually get the Marvel movies 1 or 2 weeks early

I'm incredibly excited though as the first is a really refreshing take on the Marvel movies

Nah, that's probably wrong.

Ant Man is amazing, and I'm excited for this. I have a feeling that it might be some sort of Infinity War subplot/side mission?

Hype!!

I actually prefer Antman to Guardians of the comedy Marvel movies, the concept of a suit that makes you really small or really big is just perfect for a mix of comedy & action (see: train sequence for both).

OMG at the Pez dispenser

Looks pretty decent.

I think it looks a lot of fun....

Still confused about the timeline. It looks like it starts right after Civil War, but the fact it comes out after Infinity War must be for a reason. Surely it catches up and runs alongside? There's no hints of Thanos' chaos in the trailer but obviously would be a spoiler.

This looks really good, I loved the first movie and the Hello Kitty Pez dispenser looks hilarious, much like the Thomas The Tank train from the first movie.

No spoilers:

I saw Ant Man & The Wasp last night and enjoyed it, but not quite as much as I thought I would coming in as such a fan of the first one. What I enjoyed so much about Ant-Man was that how insular it felt coming after the very heavy handed Age of Ultron but the stakes almost felt a little too low this time round. Michelle also felt underused, I mean I wasn’t expecting her to be in much of it due to the nature of the plot but I feel like she wasn’t given any real acting to do: no memorable dialogue, no comedy or sass - so she felt a bit wasted given how we know what a scene stealer she can be. It was still enjoyable though, it would be almost mid table MCU for me, which is nothing to turn your nose up at given how strong they generally are. And the mid credits scene is possibly the best yet.

7/10 a good Marvel film, not quite up there with Guardians2/ Black Panther and certainly not the latest brilliant Avengers, but fun enough, lots of gags and a convoluted plot that avoids just having one formulaic baddie. Stay for the credits. Paul Rudd is 50 in under 9 months. Worth repeating cos it's hard to believe. 50 and still looking ooh 35/40. Michelle Pfeiffer is the same age as me so her character must have gone for older men (Michael D is 74) even though she's nearer in age to this week's "my future-husband" Paul.

I really enjoyed this! So much fun and I'd put it on a par (if slightly better) than the first one.

Ghost was such a fascinating character. The Wasp was the highlight though! Evangeline Lily was really good and got into the role fantastically.

Providing where things go with Avengers 4, I'd love

this all female ensemble movie to happen. With both The Wasp & Ghost being additions to it!

I really enjoyed this, was a fun watch. Ant Man is one of my favourite marvel characters now.
I really enjoyed this. The Antman films feel like they are aimed at a younger audience which isn't necessarily a bad thing because it's a refreshing change of pace after 'Infinity War.' I'm hoping for a nu Antman/nu Wasp/

old Antman/old Wasp

team-up in the next Avengers film.

An really enjoyable film this, finally got around to seeing this. The mid-credits scene was amazing.

I finally watched this :cheer: The cinema was almost empty, shows how late I left it  Enjoyed it thoroughly though, I thought

the mother was going to die giving the energy to Ghost

so glad that didn't happen! There were some actually funny moments in this as well which is rare for me as I usually find Marvel jokes a bit miss.
