Trifoski only went midtable in BJSC 104 but that was enough for them to seize the top spot, climbing 2-1 with a 56 point lead - but now we already know that Trifoski have DNQed in BJSC 105, it's looking like anyone's game for the top spot in the next update. Ashton remain pretty close to the top, dropping 1-4 and only 76 points off the leader. The other two countries overtaking them are the countries that made up the top 2 of BJSC 104: Séyetana's national best 2nd place finish pushes them up from 7th to also be 2nd here, while Niceland's landslide victory sees them flying up 21-3. Quintessa complete the top 5, falling one place to 5th on equal points with Ashton (but fewer votes). - Aeroche slip 5-6 but are closer to the lead than they were in the last update, and similarly for FSR Rontvia dropping 6-7, as everything is tightening up at the top end of the list. Cor Lupus' first top 10 hit of the year also puts them in the YTD top 10 for the first time this year, up 13-8. FARC also enter the top 10, up 15-9 after a second consecutive 4th place finish, as do South Danaelanda who are up 12-10 after also claiming their first top 10 of the year. May 28, 20187 yr Author BJSC 105 update YTD by points - Well, we knew it'd be a new #1 this month, but it ended up going right down to the wire between the two most successful challengers! Quintessa's dark horse country smash in BJSC 105 didn't quite deliver them a second win as at one point seemed possible, but its 4th place finish was just enough to see the country vault 5-1 on the YTD :o That means they hold off the eternal #1 contenders Aeroche, who actually got in percentage terms their biggest hit ever this time with second placed Camden Cox, which pushes them up 6-2 a mere SIX points behind the leader. Quintessa and Aeroche simultaneously become the first two countries to top 1,000 points within 2018. FSR Rontvia nabbed a 6th place finish this month which sees them rise 7-3 on the YTD (only 9 points off being the third member of the 4-figure club), while top 10 drum n bass hits for both Cor Lupus and South Danaelanda see them both rally into the YTD top 5, up 8-4 and 10-5 respectively, with only one point separating them. - République d'Ashton continue to fall, down 4-6, despite actually qualifying this month. Still way too early to count them out though. Niceland and Séyetana both fell on their swords this month, both taking advantage of their auto-qualifiers (the latter being lucky to have caught an 'even number of entries' contest) to send songs that would not have normally made the final, indeed they finished as the bottom 2 of BJSC 105. The hosts Niceland did a little better, and only drop 3-7 as a result, leapfrogging Séyetana who fall 2-8 (but again there's just one point in it). Trifoski slump 1-9 following their DNQ. Interestingly enough Cor Lupus actually win the battle of the DnB hits under this system. And for a second month in a row, the song I gave 18 to (Utopia) is top 10 under this system after missing out on the real results, dammit. In this case it would have been at the expense of myself though so I can't complain too much. Jadaphonia next to each other on this system once again! May 28, 20187 yr I was the biggest loser of the 18 points system last month, and the biggest winner of this one :lol: I still pretty much ended up with the same score. 22nd with 157 points in bjsc 104 and 21st with 152 points in bjsc 105.

May 29, 20187 yr I’m glad there’s a bit of a break, if the next contest was now I’d probably fall right down, all my possibles have titles like ‘Kiss Of Death’ and ‘Sunken’ to up the aptness. Crazy how I can get lucky with AQs and then just barely move ahead of Trifoski anyway. May have fun for the rest of the year, may want to get back on the horse, I’ll use the month to see.
