Shouldn’t we be using this thread to shade artists everyone hates? Like Jessie J?

Don't even try it, she rocks :cheer:

saddens me than drake can get an insta #1 with such a lazy effort

and far more talented people like frank ocean has never had a solo top 40 :/

THIS!!

Fact that Westlife and Drake have dominated shows there's no accounting for taste

Erm... do you have examples to support this rather outrageous claim?

World Of Our Own, Flying Without Wings, Uptown Girl to name a few :)

I'll give you 'World Of Our Own', but aside from that one song they were monstrous! If crimes against music were punishable by law they'd have had multiple life sentences.

Uptown Girl is awful, even the Billy Joel original actually (a true stain on his discography) but especially the Westlife cover. :/

I do quite like their You Raise Me Up though, shoot me.

Jessie J isn't relevant enough to get shaded anymore, just look at the iTunes chart 'success' she's been getting recently.

I.e. We don't need to shade her, the music buying public does that for us.

Lucky for you, she's actually smashing it in China atm. Well on a talent show anyway! 🙃
Speaking of Westlife, Amazing is my fave of theirs. Not a fan of most of their stuff but they had had a few decent boyband tracks like Fool Again & Swear It Again (as much as I want to hate the latter for keeping Right Here, Right Now off #1).
Really liked Amazing, Us against the world, Unbreakable and a few others. They had a lot of money backing them and the quality of songs proved that. Sadly they get knocked because of just how successful they were and people love to hate, especially boybands.

I remember loving 'Amazing' when it came out! To be fair, it still sounds alright now too.

Backstreet Boys and Blue are the more defining childhood boy bands for me... doesn't get more defining than 'I Want It That Way'.
