On a very quick estimate, if we had the extra day of streaming, we'd be looking at 28.7k for Drake against 27.9k for Rudimental, so let's not get our hopes up!

does anybody know how far are Editors from #5? 300-400 copies?

thanks

I recommend people give Calum Scott a listen....its a decent album.

Certainly not mothers day trash.....

Have to agree I thought it would be full of different versions of Dancing on My Own but there are a few decent songs on there.

Is it even possible to get excited/hopes up at the prospect of 'These Days' going to #1? 🙃

'Give Me Something' from Calum's album is really good! I honestly thought it was John Newman's comeback single, but then I figured it couldn't have been coz that ain't on a CD for us to play at work lmao.

Rudimental, Dan Caplen and Jess tweeted that they're so close with the #1 :jonny: Ughh please pull through
Well, the UK clearly haven't stopped her. :basil:

I was wondering when someone would make that joke, the song title just writes its own jokes really

Not to worry, the song will jump right back in the chart when the remix with Gente de Zona, the 310th most streamed artist of all time may I add, is released, alongside its music video which was filmed in Havana.

Alexandra Burke pushed her album back a week didn’t she

Yeah. I thought she was aiming for the Mother's Day market with the original release date

It will be interesting to see how it performs in the chart

Badly surely. Has she had any promo at all? I mean she is obviously going for an older market so even Loose Women and This Morning would help.

I didn’t expect her to do well but to miss top 100 on week 1 on Monday update alone phew that makes sense

My mate told me she sung 'Shadow' at G.A.Y. nightclub as well as performing 'Bad Boys' and 'Shadow' at The WE Day event

Those performances are hardly prime promotional slots. Shame the album will likely do terribly but Shadow is pretty dreadful.

She's gonna need a Graham Norton type of platform to get the ball rolling properly.

I do agree about Shadow, its below par from what I could possibly envision to be her 'new' sound. First singles off an album can make or break an album campaign easily for her. I just hope this doesnt signify the albums overall sound.

I still think she needs a label that can market her properly (plan out a good future)

Yep Shadow is painfully average. I don't see what pushing back the album will do either unless there is a big promo slot booked.
