Posted March 13, 20187 yr Spice & Spiceworld - the soundtrack to their phenomenal success in the late 90s. But which album do you prefer? Wannabe Say You'll Be There 2 Become 1 Love Thing Last Time Lover Mama Who Do You Think You Are Something Kinda Funny Naked If U Can't Dance Spice Up Your Life Stop Too Much Saturday Night Divas Never Give Up on the Good Times Move Over Do It Denying Viva Forever The Lady Is a Vamp
March 13, 20187 yr Probably Spiceworld as there is only one song in there that I don't like - Do It Spice has amazing songs, shame about two of them that kind of ruin it - Wannabe and Mama
March 13, 20187 yr 'Spiceworld' is perfect. I love the variety of influences and sounds. The album introduced a generation of kids to motown, swing, latin and disco. But I don't think they'd have been as successful if 'Spiceworld' had been their debut. To me, 'Spice' was more r'n'b, sexy and cool. There were some quite grown-up themes in there. March 13, 20187 yr Spiceworld. Will never forget the excitement of buying that album in Woolworths with my saved pocket money and loving Stop and hoping and praying it'd be a single then Geri saying it would be a few weeks later on An Audience With the Spice Girls. An exciting time in pop and the album holds up so well 20 years later.
March 13, 20187 yr Saturday Night Divas Never Give Up on the Good Times :puke: Do It Denying All awful So Spice
March 14, 20187 yr Spiceworld. Easy option for me. I mean.. 'Stop', 'Viva Forever', 'Do It' and ofc, the greatest girl group song ever, 'Never Give Up On The Good Times'.
March 14, 20187 yr If that's the best girl band song ever, they must all be trash :lol:You disagreeing with it, just further proves my point and cements it as a stone cold girl group classic tbh. ^_^
March 14, 20187 yr Both were excellent pop albums that were worth the money but Spiceworld edges Spice purely due to the magnificent Spice Up Your Life is on it.
March 14, 20187 yr I've voted for Spiceworld, it's the first record i have ever bought (when i was 10, in 1998) and i love it. I really like every song on it, some of them are very important to me (like Viva forever). Obviously i love also Spice....but for me Spiceworld is peerless.... March 14, 20187 yr This was SO tough! I feel like the singles are better on Spiceworld but the album tracks are better on Spice. My ultimate Spice song is 'Viva Forever' but album track is 'Naked', for instance. But after some thinking about it, 'Something Kinda Funny' is a 7 for me on 'Spice' and everything else is at least an 8. I have two songs on 'Spiceworld' that would be a 6 or below. So for overall quality... 'Spice' it is! --- Spice [ 6 ] ** [40.00%] Spiceworld [ 9 ] ** [60.00%] My vote making things lewd, oh my x
March 16, 20187 yr Denying is probably my least fav album track from these albums. It’s still a 7 though.
