So following the revelation that 'The Middle' passed through 11(!) different artists before finally being given to Maren Morris, who's version would you most like to hear?

 

Personally I'd rather the song didn't exist but as that's not an option I'd say Tove Lo just to give her some much needed relevancy.

I adore Carly, Tove and Demi but I would not want any artist I like to be associated with this heinous track.

I wouldn't change Maren getting her pop hit with it tbh but Carly's would've been interesting to hear maybe? The likes of Anne Marie, Bebe or Demi on it would've just been same old, ik it's very generic anyway but there's something about Maren on it I love.

Camila or Carly for me. I voted for Camila in the poll though as I'm struggling to hear how she'd sound on it, more than Carly!

Unpopular opinion but anyone other than Carly Rae Jepsen tbh :puke2: Although I can’t really imagine anyone else there singing the “ohh babaayyy” towards the end of the song like Maren Morris did.

I've just given her another, don't worry! :P Of those listed, she's the only one I can hear singing it. It's not a great song though letzbehonest.

This is one of my songs of the year, and Maren is the main selling point imo, she sounds brilliant on it.

 

I think Anne-Marie would be my next choice, I could definitely imagine her singing it!

I can imagine Camila being a fairly good fit for this I guess so I went with her. But honestly I don't think it really makes a difference who sings it lol ~
