April 29, 20187 yr For FUCK'S sake lmao. I sold my soul to name one of the worst songs I have ever heard and it got me yet another top answer. Boycotting xx
April 29, 20187 yr Yessss, I thought I might have been on to something there when 'We Own It' popped into my head out of nowhere *.*
April 29, 20187 yr A pointless at last! Was slightly worried that a few others would go for Skyfall what with it not being something you'd initially think of - glad I didn't go for WOTW anyway :P
April 29, 20187 yr Author 05) Name a UK number 1 single in 2018. pjTj-_55WZ8 POINTLESS: none 1: Freaky Friday - Jahq, SM351 2: These Days - Jonjo, SamJudd, Zarate 4: God's Plan - Addy, Bre, Cameron, Dan, Vibe 4: One Kiss - Dannyboy, GavinD, Riser, Theo, Yorkie3 6: River - FleetSeb, Mack, Paulgilb, Pete, Sarah, Suedehead, TS0301 9: Nice For What - 77766jason, Bjork, CianS, Dalek, Dexton, Harry, Jack, Jade, LewisGT, Sam 35: 17 - Dobbo 35: International Blue - Cqmerqn 35: Thought Contagion - Liam And were back to no pointless answers *.* The worst #1 of the year is the lowest scoring answer of the year, These Days/God's Plan/One Kiss pick up some points, the completely bland/forgettable/dreadful/tuneless/enter similar word River scores quite a bit and Nice For What, the better of the two Drake chart-toppers, is by far the highest scorer. Y'all were meant to avoid that one ffs :kink: What an awful year for number ones, These Days and One Kiss are probs the best and neither are much above a 6/10 (Nice For What is the only one that isn't at least 0/10 of the others) All the wrong answers here are for people that didn't read the opening post x I said any question talking about UK relates to the main official chart so despite these songs going to #1 on whatever chart they were specified as, they weren't the main chart!
April 29, 20187 yr Omg finally not the top answer xo Surprised that no one went for the loophole of picking a dance chart #1 or something, someone usually does. (edit: wait maybe they did and got marked wrong oops)
April 29, 20187 yr Omg I was either going to go with 'Nice For What' or sell my soul to put 'These Days'. Looks like I was right about my answers being all over the place so far
April 29, 20187 yr Author 06. Name a female artist and song which has debuted straight onto the A-List of the Radio One Playlist (must be a solo or female led song and need the name of both the artist and song). ffxKSjUwKdU POINTLESS: 0: Green Light - Pete 0: Party In The USA (Live Lounge) - Cqmerqn 2: End Game - Dobbo, Jade, Liam 3: Chained To The Rhythm - FleetSeb, Riser, TS0301, Zarate 4: Look What You Made Me Do - 777666jason, Dan, GavinD, Jahq, Sam 7: No Tears Left To Cry - Addy, Bre, Cameron, Dalek, Jonjo, LewisGT, SamJudd, Suedehead 8: Hello - Dannyboy, Dexton, Harry, Jack, Mack, SM351, Theo, Vibe, Yorkie3 12: Hold Up - Bjork 35: Ain't My Fault - CianS 35: Born This Way - Paulgilb 35: Domino - Sarah Ugh all these songs slay so much <3 <3 The two pointless answers comes from Lorde's comeback/one of the best songs ever/euphoric joy Green Light and Cqmerqn went for the classic PITUSA, which was A-listed when R1 suddenly decided to A-list a random bunch of their live lounge performances in their LL month back in September last year! Taylor's should've been a bigger hit End Game, Katy's should've been a bigger hit Chained To The Rhythm and LWWYMD scoring the same points as last time are up next and are all massive faves of mine <3 By far and away the two biggest answers here are Ariana's massive comeback which was A-listed last week and is already the best song of 2018 and Adele's even bigger comeback Hello again picking up big points! Hold Up I've been lenient with as its first solo credited week is A-list but it was part of the Beyonce Lemonade tracks B-listed before. I don't think its fair to give the answer all the amount of wrong points but on the other hand it is incorrect to a degree. The other wrong answers debuted on B-list, bar Zara which was C-list.
April 29, 20187 yr Back to doing well again, yay, we like this. *.* Great answer there from cqmerqn! Him coming to win?
April 29, 20187 yr Yeah not doing so well in this edition...at least all the answers I got are right!!!
April 29, 20187 yr Great answer there from cqmerqn! Him coming to win? He got the previous question wrong so probs not xx I'm shocked Ariana wasn't the top answer for that, it was the only one I could think of and I had no easy way of looking up any others  I'd completely forgotten that 'Green Light' was added straight to the A-List?? Weird, that seems like something I'd remember. Flop stan
April 29, 20187 yr I put a random date of playlist into google I think and End Game happened to debut then
April 29, 20187 yr He got the previous question wrong so probs not xx Oh yeah oops  him doing well with pointless answers thus far a lil offset by that.
April 29, 20187 yr I thought ‘Green Light’ would score quite a bit! :o and WELL DONE to cqmerqn on this one!
April 29, 20187 yr Author 07. Name a song released since streaming was introduced to the charts which has spent 12 or more weeks in the top 10 whilst never reaching the top spot. nfWlot6h_JM POINTLESS: Cheap Thrills - Dexton Dancing On My Own - Zarate Lean On - Cqmerqn Let Her Go - Vibe Lush Life - Pete Take Me To Church - Jade Unforgettable - Paulgilb 1: Starboy - TS0301, Bre 1: This Is What You Came For - Dan, GavinD 1: Too Good - LewisGT, Theo 2: Castle On The Hill - Bjork, Cameron, Jahq 2: Shake It Off - FleetSeb, Sam, Yorkie3 2: This Is Me - Addy, Jonjo, Suedehead 2: Work - Harry, Jack, SamJudd 4: Shut Up & Dance -- 777666jason, CianS, Liam, Mack, Riser 35: Anywhere (11 weeks) - Dannyboy 35: Don't (2 weeks) - Sarah 35: Dusk Til Dawn (11 weeks) - Dalek 35: IDGAF (9 weeks) - SM351 35: Solo Dance (8 weeks) - Dobbo Another very low scoring question! The pointless answers see some of the biggest hits of the decade and scoring answers include the inspiration for this question, Taylor's classic Shake It Off, the incredible This Is Me which I didn't even realise had slayed that much and the biggest answer was one hit wonder (justice for One Foot </3) WALK THE MOON with their bop Shut Up & Dance. I didn't realise some of these songs (like Starboy) were as big as they were. More wrong answers here. Anywhere (bop of life) and Dusk Till Dawn were so close but just fall short, IDGAF also just missed the mark, Dobbo's loophole failed and Don't was nowhere near 12 weeks, one of the few Ed songs we can say that for.
