6th: "Hate That I Love You" [10 votes]

Just missing out on a place in the top five is "Hate That I Love You", Rih's duet with 00s R&B star Ne-Yo. Yet another mid-tempo, this was the first time that the pair teamed up for a vocal collaboration, following on from the success of "Unfaithful" which was co-written by Ne-Yo. He also co-wrote "Question Existing" and "Good Girl Gone Bad" from the album as well as her hits "Take a Bow" (still to come) and "Russian Roulette". It didn't quite match the success of "Unfaithful"in the UK charts, missing the top 10, although it did have a solid chart run in the US, being certified 2x Platinum in the process.

THANK YOU BUZZJACK *.*

Five absolutely incredible songs but I think I'm gonna go for 'Don't Stop The Music'.

Voted 'Take A Bow' again! I really like those other four songs.

do you like ‘Take A Bow’? Never understand the muted reception it gets, it’s so good and way better than the other big early Rih ‘Unfaithful’ which is way overrated.

Nah I've never really got 'Take A Bow'! I have always found it pretty dull. :( 'Hate That I Love You' isn't really a highlight either, but otherwise this era was great for Rihanna singles. <3

‘Hate That I Love You’ is pretty mediocre. But yeah otherwise GGGB probably has her strongest set of singles!

Shut Up and Drive (oops, I've taken it to a tie :kink: )

All five of these were personal chart #1s!

Shut Up and Drive 🤮 one of her absolute worst
