I only discovered 'The Other Boys' last year. The release failed to reach me at all.

But then I don't engage much with social media and I was in the US at the time.

Something of that quality deserved to be marketed a bit harder. Jake and Kylie are just magic together.

30. Never Too Late // 7.85 (4: Theo // 10: SamJudd, Feel the Fever, pippa)
29. Come Into My World // 7.87 (4: Hide&Seek // 10: blacksquare)
28. Shocked // 7.87 (5: Theo // 10: SamJudd, Red Blooded Man, Monzo, Michael Andrew, Hide&Seek)
27. Every Day's Like Christmas // 7.9 (4: Davidson // 10: Sam Judd, Red Blooded Man, Qween, davidas, Nick Jonas, Hide&Seek)
26. Slow // 7.91 (-1: Liam // 11: blacksquare, Jade)

Despite Kylie's desire for the title track to be released, 'Never Too Late' was made third single from Enjoy Yourself. It highlights SAW's skill of creating a happy / sad production, as Kylie sings of turning heartache into love and making it through with someone who wronged her. A mix up on the 7-inch release possibly cost 'Never Too Late' becoming ninth consecutive Top 3 hit, but it was still a success and remains one of her most praised 80s singles. The 2012 Abbey Road version is tear-jerkingly beautiful too.

'Come Into My World' was the 4th single from multi-platinum Fever. From the same creators behind 'Can't Get You Out of My Head', the similarities are noticeable with its similar synth and hook (just trading "la la la" for "na na na"), but the song still holds its own. The vocals are softer and the whole aura is lighter and dreamy. The song has the accolade for being Kylie's only Grammy win to date, picking up Best Dance Recording in 2004.

Final single from Rhythm of Love, 'Shocked' was given a makeover by DNA, the duo responsible for remixing Suzanne Vega's 'Tom's Diner' the previous year. In its original form, 'Shocked' has an impressive minute-and-half-intro full of various melodies weaving in and out and has a certain rock edge to it; the single mix cuts the song down to size, incorporates house beats and includes an empowering rap from Jazzy P.

Marking the first time they had all recorded together since the above song, 'Every Day's Like Christmas' saw the original SAW trio remix the track for its single release. Much like the music from their heyday, the production is instantly recognisable as SAW's work, adding lots of bounce and delight to what was already an uplifting, positive composition from Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin and Stargate.

Probably the biggest shock result to this point, fan favourite 'Slow' drops out already. Beyond its two 11s, a further 10 posters rated a score of 9 or over, but a few less than flattering scores have cost the track dearly. Following the highly successful Fever album, Kylie returned not with a bang, but with a subtle, slow-burning sizzle. The swirling synths and electronics bubble away behind the alluring whispery vocal, putting the listener totally under Kylie's spell and hooked to a song that doesn't have to build to an explosive chorus to achieve something magical and captivating. It was a risky lead single, but it totally worked, remaining as fresh today as it was almost 15 years ago.

Total shock at Every Day's Like Christmas beating Never Too Late.

I am also very surprised it polled higher than Shocked and Come Into My World.

A few surprises in that bunch, slow I thought would be a little higher and never too late is far to low for me.shocked is placed just about right for me as is come into my world.Everydayd like Christmas is slot higher than I'd rank it.I look forward to the rest of the result as I think there is more surprises to come.

'Shocked' and 'Slow' are lower than I'd expected. I'd have predicted top 15 for both of those.

'Every Day's Like Christmas' has to be one of the best original Christmas singles of the last decade. So I feel as though it deserves its position.

Can we do a Dannii one next , or will there be no interest?

I was too late to enter this but my fav Kylie songs would include:

1. Put Yourself In My Place

2. On A Night Like This

3. Did It Again

4. Spinning Around

5. Red Blooded Woman

6. All The Lovers

7. What Do I Have To Do?

8. Never Too Late

9. Better The Devil

10. Kids

I would have been happy to see confide in me as shock low placing song but it's likely I will be left disappointed with its very high placing although I'm hoping it won't be number 1.

All theses are fantastic and well and truly shocked at how low some of these have finished...

"Never Too Late" - Thought this would have finished higher, it surely deserves it, a fantastic standout in her discography and still remains one of my favourites. You wouldn't think that with it's upbeat production that there's a certain sadness in the lyrics, it's more highlighted in it's "Abbey Road" version, which is also great, but I prefer it in it's glorious original 80's cheesey pop form.

"Come Into My World" - Another great track that deserves to be a little higher. Now I do admit that it took me a while to come round to liking this as I weren't keen on it the first time round, and wasn't happy when it was announced as the 4th single from 'Fever', (I always wanted the title track to have that honour), but through the years I've realized that would have been the wrong choice and really warmed towards this track, with it's chilled out vibe and sophisticated production, and of course let's not forget that awesome music video that ended the 'Fever' era with a bang, giving that era the perfect run of singles. Although looking back I am surprised that there weren't more singles and 'Burning Up' was in the running to be the 5th single, which would have been interesting but nothing came of it and it ended at about the right time in my opinion.

"Shocked" - Another perfect final single from yet another one of Kylie's classic albums. Even in it's original form it's great, but the DNA remix really breaths new life into it and makes it a true Kylie classic and even love that cheesy rap from future big brother contestant Jazzy P. Just realized that both 'ROL' and 'Fever' has the best run of singles.

"Every Day's Like Christmas" - This certainly finished a lot higher than I thought, but glad it did as it's definitely the best out of her X-Mas songs and was the standout moment on 'Kylie Christmas', Loved it in it's original electronic pop ballad form, but it's the PWL remix that does give it that extra kick. This should have been pushed as the lead single instead of that dreary 'Only You' as this is a million times better and hell even prefer this to 'Santa Baby'. Maybe one day this can at least make a dent on the UK charts...fingers crosses...

"Slow" - This should be top 20 at least, it's definitely one of her classics and best remembered hits of her career, and stands as her final UK #1 (remember those days...). Plus it shows at how great and at how at ease she is with one of her many reinventions, and okay this doesn't really represent the 'Body Language' album all that much (not one of my fave albums anyway), but if that album stuck more towards this kind of synth pop sound then it would have been a million times better.

I predict that 'Got To Be Certain', 'Turn It Into Love', 'Wow', 'Red Blooded Woman' and maybe one of the Golden singles could drop next.
Samjudd I feel/ felt the same about come into my world when it was the 4th single as I wanted fever aswell and looking back it was the right decision, fever the song listening to it has aged badly where come into my world has aged well. The turning point for come into my world was it's opening performance on the tour in the robotic entrance, the song came to life and since then I really like it,I think I prefer it now to in your eyes.

A Danni one was done just last year I'm afraid.

Slow is a surprise result but i am more surprised at the low placing of Never Too Late.
