Southampton are set to approach former RB Leipzig boss Ralph Hasenhuttl after sacking Mark Hughes.

It's so refreshing seeing loads of dinosaur managers out of the game at the moment, no surprise Hughes got sacked at all, it was stupid enough giving him a 3 year contract. At least West Ham for all their failings, decided to cut their losses with Moyes and embark on a bigger journey.
He was awful at every club he managed bar Blackburn & to a lesser extent Stoke. I'm sure another team will press the panic button in March though and he'll be back, pocketing another handsome payment.

He did well with Wales too!

I think he’ll just about be able to scrape the money together.

Former RB Leipzig boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has been been appointed Southampton manager on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
Strange appointment with no premier league experience. Clubs like Fulham went this route and it didn't go well!

Southampton have done this a lot in recent years, Pochettino, Koeman, Puel, Pellegrino, the list goes on. Sometimes it goes well and sometimes it doesn’t.

Yeh true - The Potch as the most famous example of its success.

Shocking defending from both sides! We practically gave Arsenal their 2 goals as an early gift Christmas wrapped present and then they bottled the lead twice within minutes of going ahead. That match should be shown to kids as a lesson on how not to defend. I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't win but a comeback 2-2 draw against Arsenal is a lot better than against a team like Southampton. I never for one moment thought that Arsenal would beat us because even when we are shit they still cant win at Old Trafford.

At least Chelsea lost so there is something to laugh about today!

Our "worst ever season" and arsenal still can't beat us. Love it :D

It's like a mental block sometimes, probably why you seem to do so well against us too! Top 4 looks a massive ask for you now though.

Looking forward to Match of the Day tonight, sounds like Chelsea were well beaten.

OT should be a free pass for the rest of the big 6 right now. Can tell Jose's binned off the league already - starting XIs are just drawn from a hat. Top 4 was gone weeks ago, looks like all the eggs are in the European basket now which is a terrifying thought.

Also not a single clean sheet this midweek round! Must have earned a few punters a few bob that.

United always play a lot better against the top sides in Europe and in league. It's not a free pass at all, yous played quite well tonight in terms of attitude according to motd. Mistake by De Gea for the first goal!

Two moments of insanity aside, we actually played well up until he pulled Pogba, the knob, and Lukaku onto the pitch. All three subs had a hugely negative impact on our pace and performance. Though I was for ringing Darmian and Matic’s Necks by the end. Praying Shaw is back soon so Darmian can f*** off back to obscurity.

Arsenal’s first goal was a complete farce tho. Allowing arsenal 5 mins to take a corner is the moment the ref lost complete control of that game

Who's the worst player in the Premier League in your view?

Difficult question as there are some terrible players, some players terrible off form and some good players who look terrible because they haven't (and might not) settle yet...

Morata is a good shout for me too! Maybe Alberto Moreno too! Hate when he starts for Liverpool!!
