The Arsenal fans are blaming Stan Kronke for their poor recent form and some of them are even still blaming Arsene Wenger even though he's been gone for months now. I've said it before, Arsenal to me are practically no different from when Wenger was in charge but their fans look at Emery as if he's in a league of his own compared to Wenger. I would be surprised if they don't finish 6th again this season, as soon as West Ham scored today I knew that was game over for Arsenal. They barely offered anything for the rest of the match and it ended up being a comfortable 1-0 win for West Ham.

They do need some more investment but it’s not like they haven’t spent any money! The problem is, like Liverpool had, you can’t conpete with the like of Man City and Man Utd for spending money. Okay Liverpool have spent a lot of money this season, but a lot of that is largely down to the CL money and also selling Coutinho. I suspect Arsenal probably need to do something similar. Plus they have this problem where they have players draining their wage bill, it’s why they’re getting rid of Ramsey. Handing Ozil that massive contract has really shafted them.

Think it's clear him and the manager don't really get on. That said I think he is too good a player to leave out. OK he goes missing in the big away games, but certainly he should be playing 80% of matches. But that new contract looks a terrible piece of business right now as I can't imagine he is going to have loads of clubs willing to pay a transfer fee for him.

And to think there are still people who think there are better keepers out there than DDG

It depends what you want from a keeper. He's been largely shite for a long time. He's a fantastic shot stopper that's for sure, but he's not a sweeper keeper so he would struggle in other teams (Man City and Liverpool). Not because he is a bad keeper, but because his ability on the ball is nowhere near the level of Ederson and Allison. I thought most of the saves he made were fairly routine.. it was terrible finishing from Spurs. Kane had an absolute stinker, he really is a greedy gobshite.

Good result for you lot anyway, it puts Spurs out of the title race they were never in and at least gives you some hope of finishing 4th so you won't throw the game away against City! Hopefully Ole gets the job full-time.

That was an amazing performance from David De Gea, to make 11 saves most of which were with his feet is phenomenal. The save from Harry Kane from close range and the save he made from Delle Alli's header were my favourites. Critics will still say "you only won because of De Gea" but that's the whole point of having a goalkeeper, to stop the opposition from scoring and we were the better team in the 1st half. Those are also the same people who said that we would lose to Tottenham today and "you've only played a bunch of farmers", "it's only Cardiff and Huddersfield" etc...

Pogba's ball for Rashford was quality and Ander Herrera put in a shift throughout the whole match, even Lindelof had a decent game as well. We're not going to win every remaining game this season but if we continue along this path then I think Ole Gunnar Solskjær should be offered the role permanently. You can see the influence from Sir Alex Ferguson in him and none of the managers that we've had in the past 5 and half years have displayed that.

Arsenal would probably be better off selling Ozil I think, he's too inconsistent and it's been that way ever since he signed for the club. The problem for them would be trying to figure out who they could realistically get to replace him.

I thought you might lose to Tottenham, but I also thought you might spring a result as their current midfield is pretty awful. It doesn't dominate teams or create anything. Low and behold you had loads of joy in the first half. 2nd half you were blowing out of your arses and should have got beat. But you didn't and it's a fantastic result. Spurs went full Spurs.

But herin lies the problem, nobody is going to buy him. It's a similar problem with Man Utd and Sanchez and also what happened to Rooney. You give 30 year olds massive contracts, you either have to pay their contract up or farm them out on loan. Can't see any team willing to buy Ozil.. much more likely to go for a freebie somewhere,

Strange Spurs allowed Dembele to leave, he's one of the leagues best midfielders imo although very injury prone.

Just watched motd and De Gea made great saves but most you would have been disappointed if one had have went through his leg.

The best keeper in the league will be on display tomorrow in the city goal.

I may be a Liverpool fan but thank god Rashford is where he's meant to be as the main man with the trust put in him in comparison to last month under Jose when he was shoved out left or right and told to stay there!

In my non biased view, Alisson is better than Ederson.

Haha I'm not hoping he makes a horrible mistake at all tomorrow !!

Wagner has left Huddersfield.

Any slight chance they had of staying up in gone now as they have by far the weakest squad in the league and I think the only reason they were even competitive is how much the squad appeared to like Wagner and wanted to play for him. Keeping them up last season was brilliant; I'm sure he's going to have plenty of offers in the near future.

Performed miracles last season but heart wasn't in it this year. He knows they were super lucky to survive. Hope he gets a crack with a bigger team!

Strange one really reading the statements, where apparently it was always the plan for him to leave in the summer. They have spent money, they have just invested poorly. Sounds to me pretty much that after the result at the weekend they're pretty much planning for life in the Championship next season. Of course they can stay up, but it would be a minor miracle. Just hope it's not a 'job for the boys' appointment...

Who wants the Huddersfield job then?

I think Wagner did what he could with the team he had just hasn't worked with the signings they've made.
