Next up is a one hit wonder from Alex Clare, who nabbed a huge hit with this after being featured in an Internet Explorer advert (I guess they have to do something right xx)! This track has a soulful edge but is largeyl influenced by breakbeat and dubstep, speaking of an encounter with a close friend that maybe went a bit too far and endangered the friendship.

Never heard Redbone so not surprised to have missed that. Shame as it means I'll have got the lowest peaking question wrong too

I could have believed Halo's clip was actually a troll and it was Kelly Clarkson's very similar Already Gone. Admittedly I don't think the similarities are represented in the clip but I haven't heard it in a while so I could have been fooled :P

Also amusingly I did think of Woodkid AND Imagine Dragons before Too Close clicked in my head :D

Ah that's what that was. The first couple of seconds of the clip sounded like 'Radioactive', I knew it wasn't that but I thought ID was worth a punt anyway ~
Didn't realise Alex Clare had any solo chart hits oops

Curious as to how you've heard of Alex Clare without knowing that 'Too Close' was a big hit...

06 Fleetwood Mac - Dreams

UK chart peak: #24 (Gold)

Correct: Dan,vibe, Dircadirca, Yorkie3,Theo., Dalekturret, Bjork, HarryEzra, Dexton, chrissmith276, CianS, LewisGT, Jade, Rush, Sarah, Riser, gavindeejay

A stone cold classic from 1977, this is the oldest track in the round so a bit of a dip in guesses but still a solid showing! This somehow only peaked at #24 despite being the band's only US #1, but it has gone gold in the years following as it is an enduring classic in a discography full of classics. The drum beat is so lush and dreamy, elevated by Stevie Nicks' distinct smoky vocals and it's one of those songs I can never skip when it comes on

Even though I own the 'Rumours' album, I mostly have Glee to thank for me getting that one as the production is pretty much exactly the same and I've heard their version loads  I actually considered that for the 'least guessed' option so I'm glad I went for something else, more people got that than I would've expected! I had no idea that it was a US #1 :o just that it only peaked in the 20s here, there are so many Fleetwood Mac classics that have underwhelming peaks this side of the pond tbh.

I first heard of him on that Bakermat track (Living) - there was a point from about 2009 to 2013 when I had absolutely no interest in modern music so that might explain it

07 Cher - Believe

UK chart peak: #1 (3x Platinum)

Correct: Dan, TS031, Mack, Yorkie3, Theo., Zarate, Dobbo, chrissmith276, CianS, LewisGT, Jade, Rush, Ultraviolence, Riser, gavindeejay

Incorrect: Dalekturret (LMC vs. U2 - Take Me To The Clouds Above)

PeteFromLeeds (Spiller)

Another stone cold classic up next, as Cher got her biggest hit and one of the biggest songs of all time at the age of 52, reviving her career to new heights - Madonna is shaking xx This was one of the very first chart hits to use Auto-Tune, at a time when it was new and exciting and used to such great effect that elevated this dance-pop track to super heights with help from Xenomania's production which is fab as always! It is the biggest selling song by a female in the UK but is that enough to sew up the answer to a certain question later on?

Re-listening to the clip and now I don't know how I didn't figure this one out
Really surprised that more people didn't get 'Believe' :o Perhaps it wasn't a particularly obvious / distinctive clip. That better be the answer for the highest selling question, watch it be the next one now that I didn't get  so intrigued to find out what it was, I really had no idea!

How did I not get Believe ? What did I wrote ?

Gobsmacked lol

08 Bjork - Army Of Me

UK chart peak: #10

Correct: Dircadirca, Dalekturret, Bjork, Zarate

Incorrect: Dan (Britney Spears)

Dobbo (New Kids On The Block - Hanging Tough)

Chrissmith276 (Muse - Supermassive Black Hole)

Jade (Janet Jackson)

Rush (Muse feat. Goldfrapp, Marilyn Manson & Rachel Stevens - fml)

Riser (Groove Armada - Get Down)

PeteFromLeeds (something really obvious I’m not getting)

A far less easy one than the past few, Bjork's first ever top 10 from 1995 was only guessed by 4 of you. I guess this was always going to be the hard one of this round, but it's such a fab song! The industrial rock beats pulse through the song, which gives it a brutally piercing feel, but Bjork's vocals feel tender and vulnerable, such is her incredible artistry <3 I thought this would be a tad more recognisable than Hyperballad at least which I almost put but I doubt either would have got a lot of guesses :P

was that the original Believe? didn't recognize it
