June 12, 20187 yr I'm fairly certain 6 and 7 were 2 of the only ones I answered but you haven't put my result down   bit I think it still only putz me at 9 points so still last although I'm really annoyed I missed this is me
June 12, 20187 yr Yay joint 2nd! Bjork was the only one I didn't get out of the 25 songs and also missed that one on the bonus round. Guessed Ariana as your fave which was a wild guess as not seen you post re Loreen as not on here much.
June 12, 20187 yr The exciting unveiling of the 3 songs I couldn't work out :cheer: 08 Bjork - Army Of MeOh I thought this was something much more obvious! It sounded so familiar but I've only heard this once (twice giving it a listen now, it's very good). I thought of so many songs/artists with similar instrumentals (hence my 'Muse feat. Goldfrapp, Marilyn Manson & Rachel Stevens - fml' joke answer) but just couldn't find the right one. Good to see Bjork recognised Bjork this time :heehee: 11 Kaiser Chiefs - I Predict A RiotI've never heard this and in fact, the title isn't even particularly familiar oops. This was my choice for 'least guessed' - I knew it was risky to put a song I didn't have, but all the ones I did have felt too easy or recent to be least guessed and I didn't think the other 2 I didn't have would be either, so I was left with this. Didn't work, but my backup choice was 'End Credits' which wouldn't have worked either  13 Darius - ColourblindI've also never heard this! I was sure it was a late '90s/early '00s Max Martin-esque pop song that I knew well and just couldn't put my finger on. Maybe it only sounded familiar by the end from listening to the clips that many times :kink: I should've tried to use Jade's '*.*' as a clue :') I picked 'Symphony' for 'most guessed' so glad that was close, and thanks for picking the obvious choice as your favourite :heehee: Yay =4th!
June 12, 20187 yr Well I guess second to last isn't as bad as last :kink: Should probably have got Colourblind and 1-800 though! 11 Kaiser Chiefs - I Predict A Riot I've never heard this
June 12, 20187 yr Well it wasn't a hit single in Australia where Rush is from. :P Looking at their Wiki, I'm surprised 'Ruby' was supposedly never an Australian hit either, I was in Australia at the time and I heard that a fair bit on the music video channels. Must've been disqualified due to some chart rule knowing their chart anyway.

It was a digital only single which weren't allowed to chart until late 2007 ("Chasing Cars" was by far the biggest casualty of this), and "Ruby" was a digital top 40 hit. I definitely remember it being huge on TV as well, and triple j listeners voted it #13 for the year. Incidentally their debut album actually was certified gold by the time "Ruby" was out, despite never reaching the top 50. Edited June 13, 20187 yr by Dircadirca
