I'm all for it but am doubtful as if they are ut needs to be announced very soon.

Yep I’m the same - I really think they would have announced it by now as there is no reason not to? Maybe they want to extend the life of the album post Christmas and hit us with a CD/DVD version then?!

If a re issue is coming it will be in time for Christmas. I would be surprised to see it get a release next year.

From Stewie on Sayhey...

Total sales: 115,597

Sales WoW: -33%

She's 166 in the streaming chart.

In other news I just bought the std edition in my local Asda for £5! Let's hope the supermarkets keep/ start stocking Golden again for those casual purchases.

What is the bonus content with the limited cassette? I presume it’s New York City? I really liked that song on the tour.
I’m impressed with the streaming for the album in recent weeks - definitely helped by people playing the album before/after her concerts :cheer:

Course.....

The album will have the CD, probably new remix of Music to sad. End of Nov release?

Streaming is better the last 3 weeks than it was when released.

Streaming was actually at its strongest when the album was newly released!

Streaming units achieved (unfortunately I don't have info from every week) -

13/04 Week 01 - 1,870

20/04 Week 02 - 1,240

27/04 Week 03 - 846

04/05 Week 04 - 617

11/05 Week 05 - 584

18/05 Week 06 - 406

25/05 Week 07 - 333

01/06 Week 08 - ?

08/06 Week 09 - ?

15/06 Week 10 - ?

22/06 Week 11 - 262

29/06 Week 12 - 255

06/07 Week 13 - 273

13/07 Week 14 - ?

20/07 Week 15 - ?

27/07 Week 16 - 223

03/08 Week 17 - ?

10/08 Week 18 - 175

17/08 Week 19 - 162

24/08 Week 20 - 172

31/08 Week 21 - 196

07/09 Week 22 - 208

14/09 Week 23 - 276

21/09 Week 24 - ?

28/09 Week 25 - ?

05/10 Week 26 - 425

12/10 Week 27 - 311

I would estimate between 10,000 to 11,000 sales coming from streaming data.

Thanks for those figures Jay! Seems like the sales/streams ratio seems to have narrowed as time has gone on, with streams remaining pretty consistent as sales dipped.

Fab that Golden would have gone Gold on pure sales - wonder how many other albums would have passed 100k on just sales?

11k (and counting, should be about 20k by the end of 2019) on streaming is nothing to be ashamed for an artist like Kylie. Also I bet it’s one of the biggest streaming figures for BMG albums, as BMG tend to take artists with “physical” fanbase and promote them accordingly.

Amazing that she made the top 75 again, 19 weeks in...

Yes I would I say an official recording of 'New York City' is most likely. Would be great to hear more unreleased stuff too and I imagine there could be some exclusive performances, maybe something from backstage of the tour?

Agreed that it's not looking likey we'll get a full-out re-release but I suppose we never have seen that from Kylie previously. I'm happy with the album we've got tbh and the album is going to see some great sales over the next couple of months anyway with the promo she has booked.

If all the rumored promo goes ahead ideally it will keep the album selling along with the cassette which will bring attention aswell.

KYLIE MINOGUE has chucked her fans a little bone by revealing she has a few spare hits up her glittery sleeve that failed to make the cut on her chart-topping album Golden.

‘I will confess there are a couple of songs I wouldn’t mind revisiting that didn’t make this album because they weren’t the right sound,’ Kylie, 50, told GP. ‘But I think there is something in the songs to be explored. I don’t know when that will be, or for a new album or a greatest hits, or what’s going to come from this.’

(Source: Metro)

^^ I think she mentioned something similar at the start of the campaign too - I’m sure the songs will find their way out one way or another (Like when ‘Golden boy’ was used for a RSD 7’ release). Interesting that she’s mentioned a GHs though - definitely think we’ll see a new version to coincide with the possible Glastonbury performance.
