Can't wait for the semis to begin, hopefully by this time tomorrow England and Croatia Willbe the other two teams in the semis.

What a win for Belgium. France v Belgium will be a cracker. Belgium a team that has improved since the last World Cup.

I knew Belgium couldn't be counted out here. They've really played incredibly these last two games and Brazil never quite reached that (poor hens, although at least they were defeated with a less humiliating margin :kink:). It was also lovely to see a referee not condoning Brazil's histrionics!

 

Belgium vs France will certainly be a cracker, might be getting a bit ahead of myself, but I've got a feeling the victor of that will be the one holding the cup in a week's time.

It would be quite remarkable if Belgium got to the final as they took the "harder" route in the knockout stage instead of taking the route that England have taken. If they can beat France in the Semi Final then I think they would be worthy champions.

The way this World Cup has gone so far I wouldn't necessarily say that Semi will yield the overall winner! It should be a cracking tie though, probably the 2 best squads in the tournament going head to head.

Brazil missed Casemiro so much.. I think Brazil just lucked out. They should have had at least one penalty to be fair, nothing just seemed to work for Brazil.

 

Anyway shaping up to be a great semi-final.. would make a worthy final!

What I meant is that the winner of the Belgium Vs France Semi Final would be the heavy favourites to win the tournament. Of course anything can happen in a one off match but it would be hard to imagine that not happening.

There's been many cracking games but that was up there with Spain Portugal and Argies France!

Keeping all of my toes crossed for us to somehow end up with a rematch of Belgium vs. England, without the half-arsery, in the grand final now tbh. Kind of a shame to see the last non-European team knocked out already though!
