August 9, 20186 yr Ooh I only know of her due to Persephonia's BJSC entry earlier in the year and thought she seemed like an intriguing talent, but this one sounds even better
August 10, 20186 yr I was aware she had some new material but I'm being lazy as always and only just checking it out now. Seems like she is going in a more contemporary direction with this stuff compared to the folk/flamenco sound of her debut - liking the song in the OP but have just listened to the first single 'MALAMENTE' which is even better, sounds very infectious <3 Rht7rBHuXW8
November 7, 20186 yr Malamente was so good, listening to the album right now and it hasn't disappointed  The Cry Me A River sample in Bagdad!!! amazed you've all know Rosalia, thought it was just a Spanish thing We do have an awareness of artists outside of our own country, we're music fans
November 8, 20186 yr I know, but there have been million of great Spanish music thru the years and people only know Enrique :D Edited November 8, 20186 yr by Bjork
November 29, 20186 yr this is becoming my album of the year. just absolutely stunning throughout. the singles, bagdad and maldición are always goosebump *moments*.
December 17, 20186 yr Author i think this record is a total gamechanger / incredible music / interesting / immense / rich records this strong and unique rarely come by
December 17, 20186 yr pitchfork's #6 album of 2018 and Malamente is Top 3 *.* although I'm a bit surprised 'pienso en tu mirá' isn't top 100. it's her best song quite clearly
January 7, 20196 yr She placed fifth in the BBC Sound of 2019! A shame she's not higher but it's still a huge achievement for a non-mainstream Latin artist.
May 5, 20196 yr I still can't get enough off this album. It's amazing from the beginning until the end and I hope ROSALÍA could break even more with her upcoming releases.
