Ooh I only know of her due to Persephonia's BJSC entry earlier in the year and thought she seemed like an intriguing talent, but this one sounds even better :wub:

I was aware she had some new material but I'm being lazy as always and only just checking it out now. Seems like she is going in a more contemporary direction with this stuff compared to the folk/flamenco sound of her debut - liking the song in the OP but have just listened to the first single 'MALAMENTE' which is even better, sounds very infectious <3

I know, but there have been million of great Spanish music thru the years and people only know Enrique :D

this is becoming my album of the year. just absolutely stunning throughout. the singles, bagdad and maldición are always goosebump *moments*.

i think this record is a total gamechanger / incredible music / interesting / immense / rich

although I'm a bit surprised 'pienso en tu mirá' isn't top 100. it's her best song quite clearly

 

She placed fifth in the BBC Sound of 2019! A shame she's not higher but it's still a huge achievement for a non-mainstream Latin artist.

I still can't get enough off this album. It's amazing from the beginning until the end and I hope ROSALÍA could break even more with her upcoming releases.
