August 24, 20187 yr What a big week for Ariana! Her latest album being at #1 and her two songs at the top 10 made me so proud for her. I like ’breathin’ a lot now (I think it’s better than ‘God is a woman’) so if she releases her next single then it’ll be a massive hit. ‘Promises’ and ‘Eastside’ are great tracks so I believe Calvin and Benny should compete the top 2 next week (along with Ariana). The rivalry between George and Drake for the last three or four weeks has really made me stale so I hope there has to be something fresh to get to #1 next week.

August 24, 20187 yr A little disappointed that Calvin couldn't manage a #3 debut, but I'm pretty sure it's going to #1 soon anyway so doesn't matter too much - another good song from him and actually I can see it holding up for me better than 'One Kiss' did. Idk how but Sam Smith always manages to be fine as a featured artist, it's only his own songs that I don't like at all (bar 'Money On My Mind'), I guess he just needs less drab production. I do like 'Eastside' as well anyway so not begrudging that a top 3 spot. Great to see Loud Luxury top 5 as well, Juice WRLD being #11 yet again though (and denied by Tyga for a third week in a row...) Pleasantly surprised that 'SICKO MODE' seems to be sticking around and actually even climbing this week! Maybe will be more of a 'Look Alive' style hit (i.e. hanging around the same area until it goes to ACR) than the J. Cole album tracks which was the sort of run I was expecting it to have. Glad to see Dynoro cracking the top 40, here for that to be a big hit in the coming weeks, I don't think I like it quite as much as the Ivan Gough/Feenixpawl/Axwell version but it's still pretty good. Not that big a fan of The 1975's new one after loving the first two songs from the album, it's interesting to see them experimenting with a different sound but I don't think it works that well for them. Not heard the other new entries yet ~
August 24, 20187 yr Is it just me or does Jess sound different? I thought that on first listen but repeated listens it does sound more and mor3 like her
