The artwork looks like a hybrid of 'Forever' era Spice Girls and 'Out of Control' era Girls Aloud. Where's all the colour and the logo? They can't just have 'Little Mix' written in any old shit font on the front.

Still, am hoping they deliver a full on pop bop as always. Even with that Minaj thing on board.

I like the artwork! I don’t love it but I’m glad the childish logo is gone and they’re going for something a bit more mature, an image re-do. As they need to move away from the Disneyfied image.

I'd prefer the artwork if the background was one colour, but otherwise I quite like it. It was about time they changed up the logo.

Like lewistgreen, it also reminded me of Spice Girls - Goodbye!

This is so good! They performed it at a recording of Michael McIntyre's Big Show that I went to tonight! It reminds me of "Can't Remember to Forget You" mixed with "Side to Side". The pre-chorus is where it's at - the chorus is another choppy-ish one like "Only You" was. Nicki's rap (what I heard of it) was strong and felt much more like a feature - she had at least 40/50 seconds solo.

I've no idea when it will be shown on TV but they mentioned after the performance that the album is out 'now' so I guess it'll be late November/early December.

I can't wait to hear the final version, shame it's almost 2 weeks away though!

I don't know how much you're comfortable with giving away but what was the performance like? Was there a lot of choreography?

Yes "another feature"...

Who honestly cares? Why do you care?

Because it’s all they ever do these days. The only decent feature has been no more sad songs. The rest have added nothing in my opinion. It just screams that they have no faith in their music without a rent a rapper tagged on and it’s very frustrating because their music is brilliant without it. It’s wearing thin now.

It was really good! They had a huge multi level set and started in the centre performing to camera before going into the routine with backing dancers. I only really remember this cool move that they did sitting on the edge of the stage with lots of legography.

They performed it twice because the audience was sat down during the first take so depending on the angles, they might edit bits from both performances into the episode.

Honestly, I'd really like to see them release another single that is just them.

I mean...

Little Mix feat. Jason Derulo

Little Mix feat. Sean Paul

Little Mix feat. Charlie Puth (Not a single, but nevertheless it got a brief push in its own right)

Little Mix feat. Kid Ink (Remix) (US Single / Replacement version on Glory Days re-issue)

Little Mix feat. Machine Gun Kelly

Little Mix feat. Stormzy

CNCO & Little Mix

Cheat Codes & Little Mix

Little Mix feat. Nicki Minaj

... is reaching overkill levels. Their only single that has no associations with a collaborator since 2016 is Shout Out to My Ex!

So yeah, I care to an extent and I can see why other people are raising eyebrows about it at this point. I love/like all of the above songs, don't get me wrong, but it's just a feeling I have that I would really love to see them do another single where the focus is purely on them again. At this stage I feel like that would be more special than yet another collaboration, which is quite funny. Hopefully that will come after this lead single.

Having said all of that, something that is obviously different about "Little Mix feat. Nicki Minaj" is that it'll be their first female collaboration since Missy Elliott, so at least that's a more interesting choice than going with another male artist.

And SOTME had Zayn’s name attached with its promo roll out

But i’ve said this before

Genuinely one of the most ridiculous posts I've read lmao

It sounds like Bastille - Bad Blood with the twanging of Side To Side

In fact it sounds exactly like Bad Blood!

Omg what!? I'm extremely hyped if this is true

Echoing the disappointment that they're releasing another feature but it could potentially be better than the last several collabs!

This. The songs were perfectly good on their own. At least this one starts with the collab instead of adding them in afterwards and making the song less good.

Hair & Power were genuinely improved by their remixes though, the rest not so much but I can’t imagine listening to either of those now without Sean Paul/Stormzy

Agree about Hair but I genuinely never listen to the Stormzy version of Power.

Including Kid Ink for Touch is really stretching it though (I forgot it existed and probably only heard it once).

I agree they collaborate too often, but getting Nicki Minaj to collaborate with them is a big deal. I really dislike her but it's always been a dream for the girls to work with her, so I don't mind that much tbh. :P

I really wish it was Ariana though :(

I agree with others about the collaborations. With Get Weird and Glory Days they've really gone from big to HUGE so why do they feel the need to do this to help them up the charts? It bothers me more with NMSS, Power etc though and if Nicki's feature is better than what she's been doing lately I doubt I'll care

I really don't think they're adding these features in a post-album campaign to help them up the charts, though? Although there've been a fair few features to come out of the last two eras, I seriously doubt they're thinking to themselves 'Machine Gun Kelly is definitely the person to get us our next #1' - or the same with the likes of CNCO who aren't exactly the biggest name in the UK. Their lead/second singles have been dominated by solo songs, so it's probably fair to assume they know they can achieve greatness in the charts, with or without a feature.
