20k overtime is more than possible for Madonna.

The tour will help with some sales in addition to some natural sales in low numbers.

Future discounts will also help, i haven't enjoyed this album from Madonna myself but i do think it will manage a silver certification.

I think with Kylie a new edition or the box-set is the plan to give the sales a push later in the year and this should result in a safe Gold Certification for Step Back In Time.

Step Back in Time is midweek #28 today... I suppose it’ll be somewhere in the 30s area on Friday?
59,760 as of Friday, so definitely silver by now, has 1,400 on the building chart for this week so far.
Thanks AJ! Great that it's Silver this week! I just hope it'll sell well in Q4 and have no trouble certifying Gold.
Top 30 is most unlikely for the album this week, Top 35 region is the likely result.

Can see this being #33 by Friday - great for its 7th week with zero promo now :cheer:

Well over 2 million sales even before Boombox and those remix albums are all included. All hail the Queen.

Yeah I agree Madonna will get to the silver certification eventually. I haven't bought a copy yet but I will do at some point, probably when it has been reduced as there has been nothing to draw me in this era (haven't liked any singles) but I have all her albums so I want to give it a listen at some point. There's probably quite a few people like me who will trickle buy it over time.

She really could do with a Christmas show where she celebrates her career like an audience with type thing. That would help push the sales in the busy climate, perhaps could be paired with a re-release with a third cd or something.

I randomly came across "Audience with Kylie" during the Fever era. It'll be great if she can grab an ITV special during the holiday season. Although, I firmly believe that SBIT did its job (of raising her profile and good will), and she should use this good will to record and promote a new studio album pronto.
That is extremely disappointing, big drop from its Number 24 position at the beginning of the week.

That is the only good news this week.

I did not expect at all for STIT to be outside the Top 35 this week.

Great news re the silver award.

Big drop but sales are so low all round, a few hundred copies equals 10 places.

I think it had an amazing good run for what it was and to have reached silver status at its last week in the top 40 is the icing on the cake...
