The album is no58 in midweeks today. I suspect it won’t be T75 again by end of the week.

#58 is a bit of a disappointment with a prime time TV slot and TV adverts :nocheer: Hopefully it can re-enter the Top 75 but was expecting a bit more tbh.

That is very disappointing although i remain somewhat hopeful that many who watched it over the weekend would only be getting to the shops maybe today or later in the week to pick up the cd.

For a few weeks now SBIT has ended in a much lower position on the chart than where the album was placed in the early midweek chart information.

That trend would be welcome to change this week.

 

To be fair the boost from Strictly will likely be in tomorrow's midweeks - Kylie is likely to pick up shop bought purchases which are more likely during the week than they are a Sunday. Might even see the effect next week if people decide to but on Friday or Saturday.

I had some thoughts that it would be tomorrow's midweeks the album may see a better climb too.

I think it will be much higher in tomorrow's update.

This is more impressive but the placing is much lower than i had hoped.

That said, if sales increase as they have done, it may move to the Top 40 in the next update.

It does look safe for a Top 75 placement this Friday based on the information we have.

To be honest Strictly offered nothing new. It was very good, but same songs most people who want already have. A new song etc would have sold an album more but she doesnt have any on SBIT lol
