Lewis is definitely too far behind to catch up now! I estimate he'll end up with 10,800 streaming & 12,700 pure sales by Friday (a total of 23,500), whereas Kylie is on course for 32k or 33k!

Kylie should manage to beat lewis by about 5000, black keys were no threat at all to kylie in the end.

E-mail from the Kylie mailing list really pushing the cassettes (Saying they are now very limited?) and featuring a picture of each one - she should have done a last minute special priced bundle or signed a few.

Kind of, I love Kylie anyway I just haven’t really liked her singles since Aphrodite, wasn’t really a fan of Into the blue (not sure why) and although I like dancing I really struggle to hear what she sings in the chorus (I’m deaf) so just skipped those two album releases. I’ve got every other studio album she has released as Ultimate Kylie so really should buy the other two.

‘Kiss Me Once’ seems to be u universally hated but I love it and still listen to it a lot now (I struggled with ITTB in the beginning but really like it now - such a shame it got missed off the GH), ‘Golden’ for me is such a strong album from start to finish - out of the two if definitely pick that one up.

I would hold back on any price reductions now and push it week two to keep it selling well.

This - even the 2012 flop ‘The Best of’ only went 11-23 in its 2nd week.

 

This has exposure in all the supermarkets and HMV, multiple versions still available on her website - not all fans buy/can afford multiple copies in week 1 either so pick up copies later, I’m expecting this to be Top 5 at least week 2 and hopefully a few weeks Top 10 overall.

The biggest fall Kylie has had with any of her #1 albums is 1-4 with Golden all the others either dropped to 2 or 3 so this shouldn’t be any different. She’s not the kind of act to drop 1-23.

She doesn’t need to, they’re close to selling out at £15 each!!! So perhaps 5000 total produced inc international sales , I also wonder if there are 1000 of each or they produced different volumes depending on the preorders?

There’s 100+ left of each cassette (That’s the highest amount it allows you to add to your basket). Although there probably are not that many left as it’s sold 2,000 in the UK and a high number would have gone to international fans - so they could be down to 1,500 copies total if they did produce 1,000 of each - would love to know the most popular colour so far! I’ve seen a lot of people posting the pink one.

I went for Gold....I guess we’ll know which is most popular as it’ll be marked as ‘sold out’ first.

Looks like the Gold coloured cassette has been the most popular, it’s now showing that there’s 93 left! Whereas the other four are still over 99.

 

If I was to buy any colour it would be the Gold one! I just don’t think I can justify spending £20. :(
