Didn't know what to expect from this compilation when it was announced, so glad it turned out to be another chart success for Kylie!

Oops at Australia..

TBH with zero promo in Australia it’s probably the best result, ‘Golden’ struggles too and only spent 5 weeks in the charts - she really is a fan based artist there atm but I’m sure that will change again as it always does.
Also lovely to see it climb 23 places in Czech Republic and hold up well in Spain.

We all know that further down the chart its streaming that helps. Kylie is getting virtually no streaming so unless she does promotions to keep selling the CD she will fall, especially on weeks with lots of new entries. Even core fanbases of artists on release week will mean they buy enough to overtake Kylie and also soundtracks get streamed.

Look at Sigala still top 60 and i bet virtually its all streaming of 4-5 songs from the album on playlists.

I think it’s safe to say that SBIT could get 800-1,000 streaming points weekly - she will continue to sell CDs/Vinyl/Cassettes even in small numbers for the coming weeks/months until any promo kicks in. I’m expecting a tumble this week but ultimately she’s scored a #1 album that’s about to go silver so no drama :P

I don't think she is getting anywhere near 800-1000 streaming points.

Didn't she get that only In week one. Probably not getting more than 100-150 as week

Week 1 - 1,225 streaming

Week 2 - 1,042 streaming

Week 3 - 863 streaming

Week 4 - 677 streaming

= 3,807

Thank you! Love seeing the breakdown - was hoping the casual plays of songs would contribute more to streaming but nearly 4K in 4 weeks is great for Kylie ;)

I imagine that it might settle being a 500-1000 a week trickle seller a la Spice Girls' Greatest Hits when all is said and done. Streaming is hurting it now, but it'll likely help it stabilise eventually.

Great stuff - hopefully it will be able to pull in 500-1,000 weekly, like you say that will really help prop it up towards the end of the charts where sales are really close.

Gosh that surprised me

Suppose it shows how important streaming is now becoming in album charts

Apparently magic fm are going to show some videos of the secret concert over the next few days
Yes they are going to be posting everything apparently - they were SUPER strict on the night and didn’t allow photos or videos which is why very few have appeared, as soon as security saw anyone filming they were straight over.

Interesting streaming stats - one other benefit of SBIT is as there are so many tracks, the less streamed ones will still benefit her back catalogue. Abbey Road Sessions being the obvious one collecting better streams.

It's crazy how many people must be listening to Lewis Capaldi/ Ed Sheeran for them to have such significant streaming 'sales'. Ed had over 31,000 streaming sales in week 2, a big drop from just under 50k week one. He's going to be number 1 for weeks on end if his streams stabilise above 20k per week.

Late to this thread, but I'm still surprised that it got to #1 and managed 3 weeks in the top 10. That's incredible when stars of her era are struggling with a 2nd week in the charts with original material (no, not just referring to Madonna). My guess is that it'll fall out of the top 40 soon but stay in the 40-80 region for a while and be the slow burner.

IMHO, the success of SBIT sets her up well for the next studio album. Hopefully we see it in 2020 and not 2023 or something!

Starts off at #15 this week in the UK, looks like it'll end up there come Friday, give or take one or two positions.
