Good pop is where kylie succeeds bezt just like you mentioned and hopefully she go on that route.

Upbeat and fun and strong pop elements and Kylie wont go wrong.

#LOVERS ... 2 years ago today, Golden entered the charts at #1. It was such an exciting time for me and my team and connecting with so many of you around the world was truly wonderful. It seems a world away from where we are now but as I work (remotely) on new material, I send love and gratitude to you all. Stay safe everyone. 💖😘

Really doesn't feel two years ago! This era was such a blast to follow from start to finish. I re-listened to the album a couple of weeks back and it still holds up as strongly.

 

Pleased to hear she's still working on new music too!

Love that she celebrated the 2nd anniversary - you can tell Kylie is proud of the album and era.

Great that Kylie acknowledged the 2 year anniversary as she never does that with her albums.

Just came up on my memories today that 2 years ago when I was living in NY for the US ‘Golden’ campaign - such a great time although it feels like longer than 2 years ago! Was lucky enough to see and meet Kylie a few times and then it was only a few months later that she returned for her show at the ICONIC Bowery Ballroom - one of the best and most intimate shows I’ve ever been too where we were treated to ‘New York City’ being premiered twice. Great memories :wub:

Yes lots - I’ve been lucky enough to meet her over the years at signings, radio/tv studios, concert venues etc.,

You lucky b***a*d I'd love to meet her, I think getting to the top row of a concert was the closest il get. I'm sure she was lovely to meet.

She’s genuinely lovely - she always has time for a photo, quick chat and autograph.

Love that you are just discovering Golden now - such a solid album :wub:

 

Golden is a solid album overall, I prefer aphrodite to it overall and a few other albums but golden saw the return of a fresh and energised Kylie.

Aphrodite I largely prefer as an album to Golden.

This doesn't detract from Golden as I enjoy the album.

As time moves on I listen to Golden album tracks that bit less which did not happen with some Aphrodite album tracks.

When listening to both albums in full Aphrodite is so much stronger for me, Aphrodite did fall down on not having the songs that were screaming to be singles, all the lovers was so hard to follow as its just an amazing track that suited kylie so well. Golden did have songs screaming out to be singles when i first heard the album Stop me from falling and musics too sad with you were shouting single for me. Cupid boy and better than today i did think of for singles when i first heard Aphrodite but it was harder to predict the singles that would come from the album, the singles were easier to predict on Golden.
