But seriously I can’t cope with all these editions - thankfully they have confirmed this is the last :lol: Should help give it a nice sales boost for the end of the year - I’m guessing it’s probably a 2-3k limited run?

And they will need more then 1500 cassettes to do that.... Also probably want top cassette of 2018? Released 14th Dec...... Strictly final appearance? 😍😍😍😍 Always a late promo slot allowed hahah
December 7, 20186 yr I am slightly disappointed about this, why release yet another cassette so soon. A tour edition CD i would have greatly preferred.

December 7, 20186 yr Author Yep but I think they have the cassettes to get rid off as they need to do minimum runs on cassettes I think in batches of 4,000 so probably yet off loading stock lol

There is really no need to have released 3 versions of the cassette, total OTT move - I’ve bought it but I’m :nocheer: about yet another Golden ‘limited edition’ tbh. It’s been on sale for a few hours now and Kylie put it on Instagram etc., and it hasn’t sold out.... yet, maybe it’s not as limited as the last batch?

Released on 14th I wonder if we have one more promo slot somewhere also to boost further...... What if the Golden Tour was televised that week?????? Strictly?????? Sunday Brunch? Lol

I have a feeling there is a decent amount available - the last cassette sold out in under 2 hours, this has been posted all over social media with lots of comments from people that have ordered multiple copies and it’s still available so looking good for some strong sales :cheer:
December 7, 20186 yr How many of the first run were there inc the signed ones...4000? So are we expecting 2500 of these on top of the 1500 previous limited Golden Collectors Edition? They must have planned this a while ago but seems odd it doesn’t have a bigger build up.

December 8, 20186 yr H6-IQAdFU3w :kink: Even though I feel like the novelty of a cassette is wearing a bit thin now, nevertheless the collector in me couldn't resist pre-ordering this. I think it'll look nice with the previous edition, as a set of two. Like others, I hope it's more than last time... 1) so that more fans have the opportunity to own it, and 2) so it provides a significant boost for the Christmas chart. I assume that MTSWY single version being included within Shazam won't be anything more than a complimentary bonus, I doubt it'll enable the single to gain sales in its own right (I could be wrong, I'm just not sure how it could be done in a chart eligible way).
December 8, 20186 yr On the subject of cassettes - The 1975 sold 7,147 cassettes this week which was available in a variety of different colours. That takes it well above Golden, which sold 2,847 of the original version up to July 2018 and then sold 887 of the Collector's Edition.

A shame The 1975 overtook so easily but tbf cassettes seem like the sort of niche product the band and their fans would indulge in.

Still available now and people are buying 1 or 2 copies so usually it would have sold out so maybe she has 4k available and around 2k of that UK sales. I do feel she may have something more planned before Xmas? Promo wise
