January 11, 20196 yr Do we think she should attend the Grammys or BAFTA? They're on the same night. Edited January 11, 20196 yr by blacksquare
January 11, 20196 yr It's a tough decision. Grammys would probably be more important commercially... but she will most likely perform Shallow at the Oscars so...
January 11, 20196 yr I think it depends on how seriously she wants to be considered as an actress rather than ‘just’ a musician. She’s clearly not going to win Best Actress at BAFTA but appearing there with her acting peers says a lot. I wonder how many Grammy wins they’re expecting as she’s unlikely to perform Shallow anywhere but the Oscars. Edited January 11, 20196 yr by blacksquare
January 11, 20196 yr Are the Grammy awards she’s nominated for part of the televised awards? I imagine record and song of the year are but the others I don’t know. I can’t see her performing at the Grammys. If she did I’d love her to do Always Remember Us This Way or I’ll Never Love again.
January 13, 20196 yr She should be performing at one of them really, shifting those record sales. I think she will do Grammy's she is a musician before being an actress afterall. Also Bradley will be representing the movie at the BAFTA's so she should represent the soundtrack at the Grammy's. Think she is far more likely to win a Grammy than a BAFTA too, pretty sure Olivia has that one wrapped up.
January 13, 20196 yr She has performed at the Grammys for 3 years in a row so that'd basically be the same old, her singing and playing piano. Go to BAFTAs and save Shallow for Oscars (it's a movie song after all) would be good decision too. Edited January 13, 20196 yr by SKOB

January 13, 20196 yr ia plus she's got a good chance of winning the bafta for original song anyway Oh I didn't realise that she was nominated for the BAFTA for Shallow! Yeah I imagine she will win that, in that case if I was her I'd be going to the BAFTA's as she has won Grammy's but never a BAFTA.
January 13, 20196 yr There's no original song category at BAFTA's but they have an original music category instead of score which ASIB is nominated for and I'm pretty sure Gaga/Bradley win that if it wins that category
January 13, 20196 yr Also, Oscars will definitely boost the soundtrack more as the competition for getting the boost is minimal compared to Grammys where only the song is nominated and other albums will get bigger boost.
January 14, 20196 yr Also, Oscars will definitely boost the soundtrack more as the competition for getting the boost is minimal compared to Grammys where only the song is nominated and other albums will get bigger boost. It’s a shame the BRITS and Oscars air same week. I thought the album could return to #1 again in the UK after oscars. I can still see it clearing around 20K again that week though.
January 14, 20196 yr Author Gaga is (joint) winner for best actress at the Critics Choice awards and Shallow won best song! :cheer:
