As LadBaby becomes the ninth Christmas chart #1 of the decade let's have a look back at the list of songs to have claimed the #1 position at this time of year. What was the best and worst?

1. Clean Bandit [bEST (by quite some way)]

2. Matt Cardle

3. Sam Bailey

4. Military Wives

5. LadBaby

6. Justice Collective

7. Ed Sheeran

8. Ben Haenow

9. NHS Choir

What a poor list of songs overall.

Everything beyond Ed is varies of average to bad.

And people say the xmas number 1 has lost its meaning CB aside the number 1 has always been tripe this decade

For the best track its clearly Clean Bandit all the way, there can only be one clear winner.

Worst Justice Collective, mind you NHS Choir, LadBaby, Sam Bailey, Military Wives and a few others, also deserve that spot.

Also I notice lack of X Factor winners having a #1 record in the last 10 years.

I love Rockabye, Perfect and Wherever You Are, like Skyscraper and He Ain’t Heavy, don’t mind When We Collide.

Something I Need and We Built This City are catchy, but crap. But NHS Choir is easily the worst, it’s a cheap sounding and poor mash-up.

Clean Bandit - Rockabye is by far the best... and it makes me wish that there were more "normal" Christmas #1s. #Justice4Ava

LadBaby is the worst for me

I think I would rank them:

01. Rockabye (by quite some distance)

-x-

02. Perfect (I don't even like it that much but still )

03. When We Collide

04. Wherever You Are

05. Something I Need

06. We Built This City

07. Skyscraper

08. A Bridge Over You

09. He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother

I'd totally wiped from my mind that atrocious cover of He Ain't Heavy... :manson:

It's so obvious Clean Bandit Rockabye are the best Christmas #1 of the decade.

DAILY STRUGGLE is the best one

LadBaby and Ed were great 'trolling buzzjack' number ones

When We Collide was only good so I could claim a Biffy Clyro song was Xmas #1

Voted Skyscraper for worst, utterly pointless

Christ only Clean bandit and Ed are actually good... the skyscraper cover is okay but then that’s pretty much it
Omfg my favourite of that sad lot is the sausage roll song!! What a pile of SHET. Which one do I choose as the worst of the worst?!
Really they sold the most the weeks of the Christmas number 1 no matter how bad they are they still deserve it
