January 16, 20196 yr Forgot how much I loved 'Heart Skips A Beat' at the time, and it's held up pretty well too. Also backing 'You Don't Know Love' for the win between those two. I'm actually surprised to see 'Dance With Me Tonight' this high!
January 17, 20196 yr I will be extremely disappointed if You Don't Know Love is crowned his best song. I am disappointed it has got so high.
January 17, 20196 yr I will be extremely disappointed if You Don't Know Love is crowned his best song. I am disappointed it has got so high. But it's so good! It fully deserves it.
January 24, 20196 yr Don't really want to see Dance With Me Tonight winning so hope You Don't Know Love does it. Not his best song but it's up there.
January 25, 20196 yr Author Ladies and Gentlemen, we've got a special treat for you tonight 2. Dance With Me Tonight | Avg.9.089 F3EG4olrFjY Highest Scores: 11: [Pippa, TheGrinch, The Poguesmith, Feel The Fever], 10: [samJudd, Chapman, gavindeejay, Scene, Liam, PAJ88, CaptainMackmas, Ezra's Elf, SweetButJonjo, Cameron, UltraReputation] , Lowest Scores: 5: [Monzo] Right then guys we are almost at the end of this long awaited countdown, and while it was a very close battle, this was finally pipped to post and for the most part, this was the winner, but the couple of lower scores towards the end caused a little slip, which means...I think we all know by now who the winner is, for now let's talk about this little gem. Released in November 2011 as the 2nd single from his 2nd album 'In Case You Didnt Know' and became his 3rd UK chart topper and saw a slight change in sound for him, going for a more soulful doo-wop sound, this came about by Olly himself as he didnt want to be the kind of artist that repeats themselves. And in this case I feel that hes pulled it off really well, the old school throwback vibe really suits him as well as adding a touch of modern sound to the mix with a fantastic melody that doesn't stop, with finger clicks and snappy lyrics and of course his vocals are on top form and creating that ultimate feel-good vibe. So on the whole this is just simple good old fashioned pop at its finest, with Olly himself at his upmost commerical peak and will probably be one his most best remembered hits of his career. How it feels when love dies, dies, dies 1. You Don't Know Love | avg.9.169 cAU7zsnH3Go Highest Scores: 11: [DexTheHalls, Jay, Cameron, UltraReputaton], 10: [samJudd, Chapman, Rossco, Scene, JerdNoseReindeer, Tawdry Heoburn, TheGrinch, The Poguesmith, Ezras Elf, WhovilleOdyssey], Lowest Scores: 6.6/6: [sgrey, Feel The Fever] So there you have it, after weeks of voting and Buzzjacks eventual winner 'You Don't Know Love', a somewhat unlikely but welcomed choice by just 2.5 points, this turned out to be the real dark horse of the competition, looking set for a comfortable top 5 position in the early stages, before soaring to the top during the last couple of rates,a nice but different choice, but a fantastic outcome I must say. Released in July 2016 as the lead single from his 5th studio album '24 Hrs' and peaked at #15 on the UK charts, his first release during the new charts streams era and while not reaching the heights of his previous lead singles, the song became a sleeper hit by spending several weeks on the charts and selling over 400,000 copies, and earning a Gold disc, also becoming his 14th and to date final top 20 hit. This sees Olly explores a different sound after his 2 years away from the music scene, going for a more electronic synth sound that not only feels like a natural progression from his previous hit 'Kiss Me', but betters it with a much sharper chorus and far more sophisticated production that suits him really well, steamy and sexy with buzzing synths and great layered vocals, a shame that none of the albums singles were this good, but this still packs one hell of a punch and therefore creates not only a nesr perfect pop song, but a worthy unpredictable winner, and that's it guys and I would like to thank everyone on here who made all this possible.
January 25, 20196 yr Wait my 11 actually won? The first time that's ever happened in a Buzzjack rate  A more than deserving winner though so I'm very glad  Thanks for hosting!
